I have gotten incredibly bored last year and started plotting a GoT AU that I will never fully write out since I suck at creative writing. It's mostly just a fun thing to spend my evenings with as an excuse to research random things.

But I've learned two important things so far: 1) spending my teen years reading Carl von Clausewitz, Machiavelli and the like comes in handy and 2) I absolutely despise calculating travel times. The amount of math I willingly subjected myself to is disgusting. And now when I read fanfic where dragons "teleport" from King's Landing to Winterfell within a day ala Season 7, I wanna bash my head against a wall. Dragons, horses, ravens and ships. Such a pain. Some of the travel time comes in handy switching over to other characters I suppose. But I havent thought about how I could fill all those voids yet.

The Stranger Things Finale was very meh to be honest. That long af epilogue felt utterly unearned with how the season wasted time. It's not completely story breaking the way Game of Throned ended at least.

The characters' weapon names all seem to have vague, inconsistent themes to them. Vincent is nearly all mythology, Matt has accumulated a bunch of different animals, Lucia seems to be birds, Glenn is shit teens would say.

And now all but one of OG Sephiroth's weapons are named for famous swordsmiths, school of smithing, etc.
