Wikkelhouse: A Modular House Made of Cardboard
Amsterdam collective Fiction Factory has developed a modular building system of cardboard components, which can be assembled in just one day to form houses or offices. Named Wikkelhouse, which translates from Dutch as Wrap House, the completed prototype comprises a series of interlocking cardboard segments that each weigh 500 kilograms. Each of these tubular components is 1.2 metres deep, and can be connected and disconnected to extend or reduce the length of the building. They also make it easily transportable.

Dreams Away
Dreams Away - Abstract Reflections by Jeanette Hägglund includes images of architecture in Barcelona, Munchen, Chicago, Copenhagen, and Seoul. All the buildings shown alone towering over us, isolated from the surroundings, a fantasy betrayed by the glimpses of reality sometimes reflected on their facades.

The Project ‘Antarctica’ shows a series of photographs of a voyage to the South Pole. I travelled with a sailing ship which was built in 1911; the same period the last great expeditions left for the unknown continent.
Thoughts of frozen ships trapped in ice-covered seas cross my mind, images of the photographers who joined these expeditions to report of the unexplored. Fascinated by their stories I head for the same circumstances as those of the early twentieth century. A journey of longing, to a time that once was. An heroic saga; filled with hardship and adventure, in an infinite, barren land.

Hi there 👋 I want to ask you please for a list of the most important architectural books an architect student should always have ?
I have included some suggestions on previous posts.
But if I had to choose some essentials I would probably include some of the followings:
101 Things I Learned in Architecture School MATTHEW FREDERICK
Towards a New Architecture LE CORBUSIER
A History of Architecture: Settings and Rituals SPIRO KOSTOF
The Details of Modern Architecture EDWARD R. FORD
Complexity and Contradiction in Architecture ROBERT VENTURI
some of my Inktober sketches

In the southwest of the USA the technique of centre pivot irrigation is widely used. Here these circles fit exactly into the square grid which was developed by the Public Land Survey System after the civil war. I have tried to photograph these irrigation circles with a kite and a panoramic camera in the past, only to find out that their scale is way too big.

LUNDBERG/BREUER CABIN Lundberg Design
Most of the project has been built using reclaimed materials from various projects over the years. The windows are all steel sash from, at last count, five different remodel projects. The pool is perhaps the most notable example; it used to be a water tank for livestock. At 25-feet diameter and 14-feet deep it provides a wonderful black hole of water, particularly in a full moon.

Why Crediting is Important
What’s supposed to happen
What’s happening when you don’t credit
What you’re making them do
Every artist grow by displaying their work and getting critique. But when their work is spread around without any credit to the artist, AND EVEN MAKES THE OWN ARTIST DELETE IT FROM HIS/HER SITE it lost the purpose and meaning.
