some adhd alana headcanons

i highkey wrote these as self projection but ive recently decided that everyone in deh has adhd :/ sorry i don’t make the rules:

coffee helps her focus 

she stims with leg bouncing nail biting, pencil tapping and it annoys the hell out of her desk partners

hates rambling but does it because her brain is moving faster than everyone elses

contributes to class discussion too much, often without bring asked too

either does her homework the class she gets it in or the period before its due

bad at time management

aggressively creates schedules and doesn’t follow them

over involved because she hates spare time (it stresses her out)

gets rsd when people call her annoying or tell her to shut up

can’t focus is her glasses are dirty

her life is one big impulsive decision

gets overstimulated in class when lots of people are talking

can’t hear more than one person at a time

she loves stimming with soft things

stumbles over her words because her brain is moving faster than her mouth

frequently has to restart sentences because they weren’t fully formed when she started talking

being a gifted kid, no one ever suspected her of having adhd because her grades never slipped

but oh, was she bored in class

can easily bs an assignment in the ten minutes before it’s due but give her an hour and she has done jack shit

flaps when she gets excited
