"Can I ask why youâre being sarcastic?" Chris wondered, putting away a few crates of records on the shelf of the music, "Iâm doing good, but unpacking is a pain."
Alanna cocked her head to the side as she watched the man unpack his crates, "Does it really matter? At least you caught onto the sarcasm." She mused shaking her head, "I guess that's you're attempt to try to get someone to help you unpack." She chuckled as she walked towards the shelf as she examined the records.
Josh couldnât help but laugh when she scolded him, claiming everything is about her. He covered his mouth nodding. âOf course, everything his about you your highness.â He replied, catching up with her and walking into the art room. âAlright, now we need to find some paint.â
"Thank you for stating the obvious." She teased as she searched through the draws for paint as she grabbed a brush from the can on the counter. She found a small can of paint in a drawer she slowly uncapped it making sure not to make any noise as she dipped her brush into the can. She made her way towards Josh flicking paint on to his shirt, "Ha! I found my first victim." She chuckled as she saw the paint scattered across his shirt.
"Oh I'm just fantastic on this gorgeous day." Her tone filled with sarcasm, "How about you, sir?"
"The whole sun? Really? Thatâs funny, considering you donât seem all that bright." She laughed.
Alanna pursed her lips together biting down on her tongue, "I'm gonna let that one slide but just an fyi honey I'm brighter than you think." She spoke in an annoyed tone, "So, tell me something that I might find interest in tell me why you ended up her." She questioned out of curiousity as the blonde's personality and actions were so similar to her own.
Taking the balloon cautiously, wondering if there was a catch â Autumn smiled brightly. âThanks!â She exclaimed, holding the the balloon lightly. âShould we find a victim?â
Alanna's brows knitted into one as the girl exclaimed confused at the excitement of getting a ballon, "That we should do, sweetheart." She held a hand out the door, "Lead the way."
Josh watched her mimic him with a cocky grin. âWhat Iâve got, sure, I mean I am in your world after all. Gotta follow orders.â He mused in a mocking tone as she shoved past him. He began following her, keeping a eye out for the art room.
Alanna raised a brow as she heard his mocking tone as he followed behind, "Don't mock me, Josh, it's best you really do learn to accept that everything is about me." She spoke stern as she peeked through different rooms noticing a room with a few easel she pointed in it's direction, "I think we've just found the art room."
Josh hopped off the bed and began out the door, he gave a shrug as he exited the room. âDoes it look like I know where Iâm going?â He asked as he peered down each hallway. âLetâs go this way.â Josh looked back at AJ and examined her before chuckling. âYou were too much of a threat? Prove it.â He smirked with a fold of his arms over his chest.
Alanna cocked her head to the side mimicking is action as she folded her arms across her chest, "I'm sure you'll get to deal with it eventually but for now just enjoy what've you got." She mused as she shoved pass him continuing down the hallway in search of the art room.
"It is a pleasure to meet me, sweetheart.â She smiled with pursed lips, âIâm an absolute ray of sunshine.âÂ
A breathy laugh left Alanna's lungs, "Oh I can see that, honey." She mused with sarcasm, "If you're a ray of sunshine than I'm the whole fucking sun."
"Well your bed looked cozy so why not." He answered with a shrug. Thinking about where they could get paint finally he spoke up. "Art room, most likely, victims can be anyone who doesnât have paint on them already."
"Sounds like a plan," Alanna shrugged a shoulder as she motioned towards the door, "You can get off my bed now and lead the way to the art room because I have no clue where anything is." She mused as she opened the door gesturing for him to lead the way as they began down the hallways, "I was rude and totally forgot to answer your question but I'm here because I was too much of a threat to the students at my old school and my family they didn't know how to handle Alanna Johnson."
"Your world?" Josh raised a brow. "In your world, what am I? Just an ant who threaten to get paint on your replaceable jacket?â Josh let himself in when she opened her door, walking over to the bed and sitting himself down. âSmall talk, not used to hearing that. I was in a fight club, what got me here here was a fight gone wrong, and some underage drinking. What about you?â
Alanna answered with an eye roll, "A jacket you would have been replacing," She mumbled to herself as she walked through the door watching as he took a seat on the bed. "Well you sure know how to make yourself comfortable." She mused as she made her way to the closet hanging up her jacket turning around to meet his gaze, "Alright so where are we going to find paint in this place? And who are going to be our lucky victims."
"I can see that," Mini said with a small devious smile before she nodded slightly. "If you say so Iâll trust you," The brunette spoke as she watched girl, keeping an eye out for others also.
Alanna scanned the hallways taking the lead looking for any students who were in need of a paint makeover. Soon the brunette spotted two girls a few paces ahead of them she turned around motioned towards them. "There they have your fun, Mini." She whispered.
"Youâll destroy my life over a jacket." Josh summed up halfheartedly as he followed her down the hall. "Good to know you have zero tolerance of others. Probably donât have a lot of friends either, with an attitude like yours."
Alanna shrugged as her lips curled into a small smirk at the mention of no friends, "Eh, I don't care I don't like to put up with people's bullshit so I control who I want in my world." The brunette simply answered as she turned the knob to open the door, "Like I really care and small talk isn't my thing but what you got in this place?"
"You seriously donât think before you talk, do you?" Josh commented though nodding to the request. "What makes you think I wonât try to ruin your jacket now that you told me itâs the only thing you care about in your outfit?"
Alanna shot the boy another cold glare in his direction, "Because if you ruin this jacket I'll ruin everything about you, Josh. Now you wouldn't want to test that would you." She sneered as they made her way towards her room not admitting to the fact that her family were made of money and she could simply replace the jacket.
Looking suspiciously at the paint balloons Autumn nodded slowly â half expecting to be pelted with them at her nodding. Â âI ran out and no one will share,â She admitted carefully.
Alanna eyed the girl up and down letting out an annoyed sigh, "Wellâ" She let her words trail off, "I'm not one for sharing either but for some reason I'm feeling a little generous today." She mused with a brow raise extending a paint filled balloon towards the girl, "Just don't use it on me or there will be a price to pay."
"Yes it is a shame," She said with a slight grunt, while hoisting the girl up, though Noelle had every intention of spilling more blood during her stay here. "And I donât take compliments on things I already know, but thanks Aj." Usually the blonde would have ignore the girls request at the nickmame, but Aj was easier and it fit the brunetteâs persona better. Â "People call me Noelle," She introduced, unsure about giving her real name.Â
Alanna brought a hand to her neck cracking out any kinks then slowly massaging at it. As she nodded her head she usually one to make friends or attempt to but she could see having this girl on her side useful, "Noelle pretty name pleasure to meet you I'd usually just say this out of manner but this time I might actually mean it."
"Because you look like youâd be fun to piss off." He joked. He cocked his head to the side at the question before shrugging. "Sounds good to me, I already got dried paint on my shirt, good thing I didnât wear anything i like today."
"Well aren't you a lucky fellow." She mused sarcastically as she shrugged out of her jacket, "Well lets stop by my room first so I can at least save my jacket from this paint war it's the only thing I really care about with this whole outfit."
