@noelle-burke
Vera looked up to see a blonde in front of her and stared right into her eyes. “Speak for yourself,” She muttered darkly.
"I am speaking for myself.." Noelle said in slight confusion, "I know I don't want you here."
"The last thing I need is to be locked up in a hell-hole like this…"
"And yet, here you are..unfortunately."
Alanna pursed her lips together biting down on her tongue, “I’m gonna let that one slide but just an fyi honey I’m brighter than you think.” She spoke in an annoyed tone, “So, tell me something that I might find interest in tell me why you ended up her.” She questioned out of curiousity as the blonde’s personality and actions were so similar to her own.
"I'll be the judge of that," She smarted, then had to think about the answer, she was interested in Alanna already, but nothing was set in stone, "Grand theft auto and home burglary." Noelle said, "Me and a few other friends, but they ratted me out, so here I am." It sounded a bit far-fetched even for her, there was no way she would ever be close enough to anyone to rat her out.
Scrunching her face up in irritating — deciding in that moment she really did not like Noelle — “Fin, don’t hide, I’ll be right back,” Autumn sighed, heading off to locate a colorful weapon.
"Hurry," She sighed and tapped a heel looking down to the paper bag still half full of balloons, awaiting the girl's return,
A breathy laugh left Alanna’s lungs, “Oh I can see that, honey.” She mused with sarcasm, “If you’re a ray of sunshine than I’m the whole fucking sun.”
"The whole sun? Really? That's funny, considering you don't seem all that bright." She laughed.
Alanna brought a hand to her neck cracking out any kinks then slowly massaging at it. As she nodded her head she usually one to make friends or attempt to but she could see having this girl on her side useful, “Noelle pretty name pleasure to meet you I’d usually just say this out of manner but this time I might actually mean it.”
"It is a pleasure to meet me, sweetheart." She smiled with pursed lips, "I'm an absolute ray of sunshine."
Narrowing her eyes, Autumn nodded slowly. “Alright, alright…” She mused out-loud, deciding something in that moment. “Its on. Give me 5 minutes to find some paint, feel free to hide.”
"I'll be here." Noelle tutted, "Why would I need to hide? ..It's just paint and I don't plan to get any on me."
"No, you can leave it on the table." Rose rolled her eyes, "Or go throw it on someone outside, isn’t that what this paint event is for?"
"Just checking." She said putting up a hand and hoisting herself onto the wooden table that help the art supplies, swinging her heels back and forth. "So, what kind of art can I hope to learn about here at The Grove?"
Claire Holt
"Nice to meet you too," Rose mused. "So why come in here with it? The balloon." The blonde woman asked as she put away the paints she was using. "Surely there’s somewhere you could make use of it."
"There is, I was just passing through and noticed your room was open." She smiled, "I mean, unless you want me to throw it at you, or your nice painting over there." Noelle pointed over her shoulder with her thumb towards the artwork. "That can be arranged promptly."
Rose watched the balloon in the girl’s hand as she looked over things. The older woman wasn’t stupid, and figured the teenager had intended to throw the balloon when she walked into the classroom—why she hadn’t yet, was what Rose didn’t know. “Rose Rhianon-Townsley.” She looked from the balloon to the girl as she answered her. “And you?”
Noelle looked down at the balloon herself and smirked, putting it down next to the paint brushes, "Don't worry, I'm not going to throw this- at least, not in here." She said, with a devilish smile, leaning against a table. "I'm Noelle, cool to meet you."
The blonde shook her head as she put the paints away, washed off her paintbrush and put it in a jar. “No, I haven’t. I’m about as new as the new students.”
"What's our name?" She asked, moving from the paints, to line of brushes in jars, glancing at them momentarily, then over to the blonde, still gripping the balloon. Noelle decided she wasn't going to target the teacher like she first intended to when she came into the room. Art was the best thing anyone could teach, to throw a paint balloon would be insulting and thus rewarding, but something inside her wouldn't allow her to pitch it.
Alanna let out an airy laugh as she saw the small pool of blood she spat out wiping away the excess from her lips. She grabbed her hand instant and for once instead of continuing her little fight she rose up towards the blonde with a grin. “Pity the janitors will actually have to do their job around this place.” She shrugged a shoulder as she pulled her messy hair into a bun, “I don’t usually hand out compliments but I must say you know how to fight I’m impressed I’m Alanna but it’s better to just call me AJ.”
"Yes it is a shame," She said with a slight grunt, while hoisting the girl up, though Noelle had every intention of spilling more blood during her stay here. "And I don't take compliments on things I already know, but thanks Aj." Usually the blonde would have ignore the girls request at the nickmame, but Aj was easier and it fit the brunette's persona better. "People call me Noelle," She introduced, unsure about giving her real name.
To caught up on her own show of loneliness. Autumn hadn’t noticed the blonde until it was too late. A shrill screech left the brunette’s lips, and she jumped up, hands on her face. “That was - that was uneeded,” Autumn muttered, spitting some paint from her mouth and blinking.
"So is your pity party," She said, wiping paint from her hand onto the girl's shirt, once she was upright and not looking so impotent as before.
Alanna hovered over to her side grabbing a hold of it grunting as she felt the girls heel kick her side a few times. She spat out what little blood in her mouth another devious laughter left her lungs as she saw the heel at her throat. She glared up towards the blonde, “Dig in deeper I dare you.” She taunted grabbing ahold of her leg ready to trip her up if she acted upon her taunt. The brunette was surprised that the girl had put up a good fight back at school her little stunt would have scared any other student anyways.
"This isn't the position you want to be in when making threats, rule number one." Noelle said in a serious tone, pushing down with a light amount of pressure, teasing her and feeling Alanna's grip tighten instinctively. "As much as I'd love to leave you looking like roadkill, I have better things to do." She pushed off of the girl's neck roughly and stood back, looking at the small pools of blood that had been spat out. Though Noelle would never admit it, she could feel the bumps and forming bruises from this confrontation already. The other girl could be deemed useful in the future, possibly, with drive and attitude that matched Noelle's almost completely. "You sure made a mess." She commented about the floor and set her long blonde locks straight again, then offered a hand firmly.
Alanna slowly licked her lips as the girl spoke her glare still cold, surprised when the blonde’s fist connected to her nose. Out of instinct she brought her hand to her nose wiping any blood that had fallen and before she could think the brunette let a small laughter escape then ramming her fist into Noelle’s face connect right below her eye. Pushing her onto the ground and stepping over her, “Don’t underestimate the girl you’re trying to mess with, honey. But, I’ll give you one thing you can pack punch.” She spoke licking off any blood that had dripped to her lips. She slowly extended her hand to the girl for help, “We just may get along I like someone that can fight back.”
Her smirk was short lived, as the other girl punched her and sent Noelle to the ground. No doubt a bruise was already showing, there wasn't any chance in hell that she was going down that easy with the way her heart thumped. Noelle smiled falsely sitting up, going to take her hand, then retracted, kicking Alanna's legs and knocking her off her feet, easily. The blonde jumped to her own and extended her black heel back, then allowed it to fly forward into the girl's ribs, a few times. Then placed the heel to the brunette's throat, with a wicked smile.
Josh was dazed for a moment at the collision, but still it felt exhilarating for him. After catching his balance he forced the girl off of him, he slammed his fist into her abdomen and shoved her to the ground. He put his foot on her chest as he gazed down at her. “Nice trick Blondie, but now you’re stuck down there.”
She groaned from the punch to the stomach, wondering, why everyone always went for there. Looking up at him a bit dazed from the rough landing, she struggled, only for a moment dismissing the jeer, feeling air slightly being squeezed from her. Noelle grabbed his foot choking out a laugh at the form, the moment she felt his calf muscle loosen up, she dug her nails maliciously above his ankle, yanking him forward with full force. She shut her eyes when he toppled over her body, feeling his feet knock into her head. Without catching a breath, she was on his back and slammed the boy’s head into the ground once.
