"Éponine is helping Grantaire move house when she stumbles upon his collection of sketchbooks and she picks one up that she’s never seen before and flicks through it and it’s all pictures of her, some are clearly just quick sketches and others are meticulous and breathtakingly detailed and she’s so overwhelmed by his talent and reverence for her as a muse she chokes up a little because she can’t quite take it all in. R comes back in and notices what she’s looking at and he’s a little disappointed because she wasn’t supposed to see it till her birthday but she looks up and meets his eye and he can see how touched she is by his work and his heart softens and suddenly he knows it was absolutely the right time for her to find it, and she crosses the room and kisses his cheek because she’ll never find a friend quite like him, and she loves him with all her heart, and he pulls her into a tight hug because he’s so lucky to have Éponine to support him.” —RACHEL'S HEADCANNON (originally sent to Anna)
