At the sight of Kameer hammering a for sale sign into his front yard, Reina can’t help but pull her car over as she passes by. It’s not news, she’d heard from her son that the Gbeho’s are moving, but she’s aware that she should probably at least give the man a proper send off after everything he’s done for her the past few weeks. So, Reina puts her sunglasses on top of her head and approaches him slowly, crossing her arms in front of her as she walks. “Sweet of you to explain, but I’d already heard about it through the grapevine. My son is thrilled.” Her words are dripping with sarcasm, because AJ is anything but thrilled at the thought of his girlfriend moving to an entirely different state. Reina, on the other hand, was happy to hear that little tidbit of news. She’s never liked Marge, and although she can’t imagine she’ll like any girl AJ decides to choose as his flavor of the month or whatever, at least maybe the next one won’t have such a mouth on her.

Still, aside from being her lawyer, Kameer is a friend and while she’s not the type to miss anyone, she’s been thankful to have him around. Reina will never admit it, but her divorce had been one of the more difficult things she’s gone through in her life, and Kameer has been there helping her with it since the beginning. Hell, he’s part of the reason it didn’t drag on for as long as it could have, and Reina’s grateful for it. “It’s a good thing everything was finalized when it was, then, hm? Although, I sincerely hope you wouldn’t have left me high and dry just because of a little move.”

Kameer eyed Reina as she came over. He had to break the news to her that there was an issue with the divorce paperwork and had hoped to do it in his office. He didn’t want Reina to be in public when she found out she was not free of her cheating husband. His eyes rolled at her comment about AJ,“I’m sure your son will be over it in a month, just like my daughter will be. And soon enough, they’ll see that this is for the best.” Marge would get over it soon, or Kameer at least hoped she would. He didn’t want his daughter to hate him for the rest of her life. 

His tailored smile tighten at the mention of the divorce. He supposed his front home was as good a place as any other to tell Reina. “Why don’t we discuss that inside?” Hopefully getting Reina inside would make telling her a little less uncomfortable with the situation. “There was an issue with a signature.” He had to at least get that out before he lead her inside, so she knew why he was inviting her in.

The Gbeho house had been the first olive branch that the town of Olympus offered the young man when he go out of the hospital. Terrified and uneasy of everyone around him, Loretta and Kameer wasted no time in treating him like family. They had done so much for him in the few days he stayed with them in the interim before he got to his aunt, Ryder hoped he could repay them somehow. As he turned the corner to the familiar home, Ryder saw Kameer standing outside, sticking something in his lawn. For Sale. Interesting. 

Crossing the street, hands in his pockets, the ginger approached the man from the side so he could see that he wasn’t alone anymore - no one in this town needed to be snuck up upon right now. “That’s a weird lookin’ garden gnome you got there, Kameer.” Ryder said with a laugh, raising his eyebrow at the questions that the man in front of him was preemptively answering. “Yeah, you missed the why. If it’s not becauseof the ATF, what’s going on?” I’ll miss you. The tone of his voice speaking the words that Ryder was too cowardly to release into the air. 

Marge had screamed herself hoarse when she found out they were moving just weeks before school began. She had cried and told Kameer she hated him. It was devastating to hear, but Kameer couldn’t take back their decision now. He wanted to be out of this town before he was taken out for what he knew. He knew that Kane was not above it and Anthony had already attempted to assault him in his office. He wasn’t going to give ATF the opportunity to leverage this against him, not when he would go to prison before ratting. 

His middle child had only calmed down when he sat her down and explained exactly why they had to leave. It wasn’t just his life at stake, but her’s and her mother’s and her siblings’. He knew that Marge enjoyed the position she had in Olympus, a cheerleader dating a football player. More than that, he knew that his daughter saw the opportunity of her relationship with AJ. These last few months had revealed just how similar his daughter was to him. He hoped that moving would help mitigate some of the negative affects the town had on her. 

Kameer had no desire to leave what he built here. He loved Olympus and perhaps when Daisy was out of school, or they truly needed him again, he would come back to his position. However, for now he could not in his right mind stay here with his children or wife. “Loretta has an opportunity in Georgia. Her own specialized practice.” It had always been his wife’s dream to live in a city and have a practice solely for sex and relationships. He cleared his throat, deciding it was fine if he told Ryder the truth. “I don’t want Daisy to grow up here. I can already see what it’s done to Marge and Davis. My son is trying to be a nurse and he’s always packing. I can’t make another one of my children grow up in a warzone.”

Honestly, it was refreshing to see a healthy open relationship. And Kameer and his wife certainly had that. It had shown rather thoroughly when the pair had shown Ramina just how giving they could be between the sheets between the two of them, and of course she’d returned the favor. It wasn’t the first time, and there was something of a routine now between the three of them. Loretta was already up to check on the cookies they’d been too impatient to watch finish, and Ramina was left with Kameer’s warmth beside her. “Where did you even find her?” she asked as she looked up to him, still coming down from the heat and passion of their recent activities. “Where can I get me a Loretta? I would maybe even settle for a Kam,” she teased a little.

Ramina had been a fun addition to his and Loretta’s routine. Loretta had been the one to suggest her after seeing her in town. He knew his wife’s tastes and Ramina was certainly within her wants. Of course, Kameer, himself, had wanted Ramina as well. He laughed at the question, chest rumbling with the sound. “Not from here. Don’t think there’s a girl from Olympus who would ever be as open as my wife is about the things we get up to.” He grinned down at her, leaning down to give her lip a nip,“You’d settle for me? I find it insulting that you’d have to settle for me.”

Loretta and Kameer had been contemplating moving states for some time now. Loretta had been given a great opportunity to start her own practice and they would be much closer to Davis. They had promised to wait until Marge was out of high school, worried that moving her away her last year of high school would have her resenting them. The shooting had made them even more anxious to move out of town, but ATF was the final nail in the coffin. Kameer was too involved to get away free and he knew that the clubs could come after him for what he knew. Marge had screamed at him when he told her the news of their move, but he hoped in time she would see that this was what was best for the family.

He hammered the sign into the front lawn, proudly declaring “FOR SALE”. He never pictured himself leaving his home, but perhaps it was time. He didn’t want to work with either of his biggest clients any longer and he was not interested in being a small town lawyer. He could feel eyes on him as the sign was finally set up, turning around he spoke to the person staring,“Yes, I am moving. Yes, it is out of Olympus. No, it is not because of what’s been going on. Anything I missed?”
