Dare I say theres nothing REMOTELY casual about this scene
✨'Cause anyone who finds Love in Hell can do anything baby.✨💞
I honestly love how hell in the Hellaverse is less "the devil and his minions making sinners miserable" and more "sinners making each other miserable because that's the kind people they are" and how even small-time offenders who's sins are pretty mild become worse because of this envirement.
It's really giving "hell on earth/hell of your own making" or as Blitz put it "This doesn't look much different from Hell".
Together, we make every moment brighter. 🌟
Lucifer by definition didn't get nerfed, because getting nerfed means reducing powers that were already there and Lucifer has NEVER had the power to hurt sinners (the next time someone brings up Adam I'm gonna scream... y'all can at least pretend to have media literacy and understand Adam is NOT a sinner).
If you ASSUMED Lucifer was able to, then that's not the shows fault (I'm saying this as someone who also assumed this). And the next time someone says "they should've brought it up sooner" I'm gonna scream even louder, because everyone and their grandma complained about s1 being "rushed"... Please, tell me you understand not everything can be crammed into the first season?!
It's one thing if Hazbin was a 15-25 episodes a season show or something, but it unfortunately isn't. So, people need to understand that if anything "needed" to be added to s1 so bad, it also means something we did get in s1 had to be removed to make room for it.
Or the people who complain that it's bad in execution, because it "comes across as a joke"... Like, we've been known Lucifer uses comedy as a way to cope with his trauma?! Which is a very common way to cope. I mean, he's been a "silly little guy" who tries to make jokes all the time literally since his introduction episode.
Not to mention that hell is literally Lucifer's punishment, something we've literally known since the literal first scene of the first episode of the show, so it's SUPPOSED to suck for him (plus, I've already talked about people who genuinely believe you can't have a king with no real power obviously have no experience with real life modern royalty like countries like mine do).
Anyway, I'm gonna enjoy my "the duality of man" version of Lucifer, because the stereotypical "all powerful" devil is boring!
I need to see some kind of reaction from them or I will croak
I honestly love how even though Lucifer moved to the hotel at the end of s1, he still spends a lot of time in s2 (before he got told to leave...) in his room and is out of the loop of most things happening in/about the hotel.
Like, he is without a doubt trying harder compared to before, but you can't expect years (centuries?) of depressed self-isolation to magically disappear overnight.
VOX DEI
What I want is for Vox to notice how very much affected Alastor is by Lucifer and his jabs.
I want him to know it’s not impossible to get under Alastor’s skin, and visibly, too. I want him to realize he can’t.
I just know Alastor would do this simply just to tease Vox 💅✨️
extra doodle, pls summon Al and Luci interactions tonight 😭🤞‼️
One thing I love, even if it meant it felt a bit rushed:
Not ONE person believed that Angel was anything other than under control by Vox.
They trusted their friend completely. I wish he knew this, but I think until Val is dead, he won’t feel that he is truly free to be happy.
omg alastor using his one favor from charlie to stroke vox's ego lmfao
The fact that Vox was quite literally willing to let himself, val and vel and not to mention a large part of pentagram city die just to wipe the smile off Alastor’s face kinda proves that he’s not very nonchalant
FUCK I knew it. Lucifer scenes were just gonna be treated as a joke and it was barely anything. I’m so pissed
Radiostatic human au where Vox/Vincent tries to off Alastor like all his other competitors only to discover Alastor's also got experience in murder...
