Here is my first tarot/cartomancy spread. I wanted to test it out with my Deck Roy, but they are on the rocks about mostly because Love Readings are on their maybe list. If someone likes it than feel more than free to use it!
1.) Self/the situation surrounding the person(s) traveling.
2.) What needs done before leaving/things that need wrapped up before you embark on your journey.
3.) Something you need to remember/pack before leaving.
4.) The trip there.
5.) What to look forward to/the highlight of your trip.
6.) What to avoid.
7.) What to learn/things to experience while you’re there.
8.) The trip home.
I made this spread to use for my mom before she leaves on a week long trip so I thought I’d share. I wanted it to resemble two arrows but it looks iffy, lol. Hope you like it and tag me/let me know if you try it! )o( Keta
This Sigil embodies the concept of patience, how it is used must be defined by its user. Channel energies and intent through this Sigil to further withstand the world but a moment longer.
A general spread for Canadians who are stuck in a rut, or kind of feel weird and don’t know what to do about it.
1- What’re ya sayin’?
What’s going on, and how are you doing? Sometimes cards can help put a name to your case of the morbs.
2- Give’r!
What’s something you’ve been avoiding doing, or a feeling you’ve been avoiding addressing? Possibly the root of your bad time.
3- Double-double
What’s something sweet your dear little heart needs to hear to pick you up? (I swear if it’s the 10 of Swords again though)
4- Sorry
An apology is the first step! This card will tell you how to start solving that weird feeling. If it’s upright, look inward, and if it’s reversed, you may need to look to others (yikes, I know)
When the Chariot appears reversed, it may indicate that your energy is scattered. You may be unclear about what you want, or you may feel pressured to put others' desires before your own. Take time to go inside yourself and seek clarity about your priorities.
There may be trouble with making progress. You may have all you need to move forward but lack the confidence to work toward your dreams. You may not feel deserving of happiness, or you may feel stifled by fear. Try to overcome your doubt, as it may be your thoughts are holding you back more than the situation itself.
Alternatively, the Chariot reversed may indicate movement, but movement that has not been thought through clearly. You may be overconfident and rushing ahead before completing the foundational steps necessary to achieve your goal. Your actions now could be unethical or harmful to yourself and others, so consider slowing down to look at the big picture.
The Moon: What blockages are in your life?
The Ace of Wands suggests a new opportunity - a bright idea, burst of creative energy, or a source of inspiration. In love readings, the card is an indication of passion, excitement, and fun. Look for opportunities to be creative and express your enthusiasm.
But this is a weird blockage card. How is an opportunity getting in your way? It's possible that you've been turning *away* from a new project or inspiration, which results in the slowed progress mentioned by the Chariot. Or, you're rushing in too strongly without thinking it through, which would result in the situation causing more chaos than opportunity. Be courageous, but be smart about it - otherwise your energy will be wasted.
The Eclipse: In what ways will you transform?
The Five of Pentacles is a card that deals more with finances and material needs than emotions. In a future position of this spread, it suggests you reconsider your feelings of “not having enough.” It may be letting you know that your time of lacking will be coming to an end, with a break you've been waiting for.
If in the future you still feel like you don't have enough, this card is telling you to look at the reasons why that might be. You may have been too proud to ask for the help and advice you need, or you’ve avoided taking the matter into your own hands. In order to transform your material comfort, you need to take responsibility for your situation and find security in your own control.
Another interesting tidbit: The Chariot reversed could also indicate travel trouble!! Be sure to double check your travel arrangements and allow yourself extra time to get to appointments (like the airport!)
So let me start by pointing out that your spread has ALL major arcana, which generally indicates a subject bigger than the day-to-day factors addressed by the minor arcana. Often you have little control over events dictated by the major arcana (~the universe~), and should strive to adjust your perspective and how you react to upcoming challenges.
The Sun: What should you reflect on?
The World represents both ending and new beginnings. You have learnt the lessons from your current phase of life, and it is time to move on.
This card can mean a victory or graduation. It is telling you that you have enough and that you are enough.
It's time to move beyond thoughts of your personal quest to consider bigger thoughts of what you can offer the earth. I'm cheating because I know you're pursuing non-profit work, but that seems like a pretty spot on topic to keep in mind for the rest of this reading.
The Moon: What blockages are in your life?
The Fool is a card of new adventures. It encourages keeping an open mind and not making all the decisions about your path. Anything could happen if you leave room for possibilities.
This is a funny card to get as a blockage, however. Have you considered that you're being TOO open minded to possibility? It may be time to narrow your scope and start chasing after the many surprises and assumptions you've left open to interpretation.
The Eclipse: In what ways will you transform?
The Emperor is a card about authority, structure, and security. When he appears reversed, beware of some problem occurring in one of those areas.
If you are trying to get something done, but do not have a plan or structure, you will find you make no progress. The Emperor also reminds that you don't want to be too rigid in your planning - but that's not very helpful advice because duh. The Fool says you have plenty of flexibility already. It’s time to actively pursue one of the many plans you’ve composed around your foundations.
Note: This card can also indicate trouble with boundaries. You may find it difficult to say no or to avoid taking on other people's "stuff." Or, you may be pushing your own "stuff" onto others without realizing. In this eclipse spread, this card is in a future position, so consider it more a warning than a diagnosis of a current problem.
The Devil is a card of indulgence and material pleasure. When the Devil appears, there's something you do that feels good but is not good for your health or well-being. Junk food, reckless spending, poor emotional decisions...
You may be ignoring your higher self and be disconnected from your spirit. The Devil is often a card of self-deception.

The Six of Cups is a card of innocence, nostalgia, and memories. You may be thinking of your past, especially your childhood. What lesson from the past is relevant to you now?
You may be ignoring a past lesson and continuing bad habits. Were you denied something in the past that you're overindulging in now? Or, are you clinging too hard to a childish mindset and ignoring the reality of a situation?
The Eclipse: In what ways will you transform?
The Knight of Swords could represent someone you know or will encounter (like a certain BOY). It could also be some aspect of yourself that should be called upon now.
The Knight of Swords is a sharp-minded and idealistic person. He is a great problem solver and debater. He is rational and doesn't let his feelings override his sense of logic. His communication is very direct and often piercing.
He feels very passionately about his own ideas and will spare no one's feelings in getting his point across. You may need to take this kind of stance with yourself (or find someone else who will be blunt with you) in order to have a discussion about the weaknesses brought up by The Devil. It's time to sit down and square up with yourself about what really matters to you, and address any bad habits that you may be turning a blind eye to. With a direct assessment, you can focus your energy on achieving goals and becoming the best version of yourself.
The eclipse is supposed to be a time of personal reflection and transformation, so I’ve made a simple 3-card tarot spread to celebrate such a significant event! This is my first spread that I’ve ever made, and except for the poor camera quality (I have an android, sorry) I think it’s quite nice. The text is a bit hard to read, so here’s a transcription:
