You know I do think it is shitty that Brandon Sanderson hasn't left the Mormon church but you know if he was Catholic or Church of Christ or Baptist or basically any organized religion besides Mormons and Scientology it would be treated as psychotic Reddit atheism to expect anybody to leave. And the Catholic church has a significantly longer history of abuses than the Mormons and runs a lot more of the world than just Utah.

Brandon Sanderson is interesting because in the majority of his body of work (especially his main cosmere universe) he kind of sits down across from you and says,
