Heartbroken.

Today has been a very heavy day for so many. So many wonderful thoughts & memories, but yet I still don't know what to say. It's still so shocking. Becca meant the world to so many. I pray that she knew how much I treasured her friendship & how much she meant to me. Even recently, after I thought I lost everything & closed myself away from everyone - she reached out to me. She was there with wide open arms. She didn't judge me. She didn't turn her back at me. She accepted me for me, smiled a genuine smile, and gave me the biggest, warmest hug. Becca was truly a life long friend. So many years & so many memories There are just no words. All my thoughts & prayers are with Mrs. Debbie, Taylor & her family. Becca most definitely left a huge, positive impact in my life. I am so proud & blessed that I was considered to be her friend. She will be deeply missed.

Shut up & Fix it.

I try my hardest to respect all views of politics. Please realize that this is exactly that - my view.

The shutdown is affecting much more than what they are reporting. My father, who is a civilian employee at Fort Rucker, has already been furloughed. My husband, plus many other family members & friends who work for Sikorsky Aircraft, now face the possibility of being furloughed on Friday.

At this point, I don’t care which side you are for, the whole thing has become a circus and is utterly ridiculous. I’m sick of our Government. Both sides are so detached from what is actually happening to the American people that it seems we are now just puppets attached to a string for their amusement.

The economy is hard enough. Jobs are few and far between. And now the shutdown is making things much worse - not to mention the threat to our security it causes.

Overall, what I see is a huge Government that is completely out of touch with reality and the American people. People are struggling to make it each month just to survive. I’m tired of things getting sugar coated. I’m tired of the bias. I’m tired of twisted stories being told in attempts to point fingers at the other political party. Both sides are equally guilty of it.

Shut up, get to the point, & fix it.
