LITERALLY, ISLA VERDE.
Even before the semestral break, me and my mates got to think of places to go through for a perfect get away to refresh our exhausted minds due acads. And we have decided to go for a beach trip. This time, I am the one who's assigned to search for our destination because they knew that I have traveled a lot and more engaged to beaches among them. Well, I didn't refer those beaches I've been before because I also wanted to go to new places of-course Hahaha! and I promised myself that I will not going to repeat travel destinations as long as there are choices. Then Suddenly I remembered, there are some places which my friend used to always tag us on facebook and it was all outstanding. So I started to search all over my time line and choose which one will be the coolest to travel. Upon scrolling, ISLA VERDE caught my eyes with its nearly paradise ambiance and clear-as-pool water. I shared it to our group-chat and YES, they agreed!
As we arrived the island, there's this rare feeling that rapidly came to me. It was unexplainable. It feels like I was starstrucked by a celebrity. We stayed there for three days and two nights and did lots of fun activities. Swimming, camping, photo-walk, and of course the highlight of this travel is my very first SNORKELING experience. It was my first time to bond up close to different kinds of beautiful fishes underwater. We also met a guy which happened to be a solo traveler. An enthusiast named Rodrigo Wong, 22-year-old Chinese Filipino from De Lasalle University, Manila. And since we're on the same place, we invited him to be on our company throughout our stay.
How to get there (Laguna Area):
•Ride a bus heading to Crossing Calamba Batangas Terminal. (33php from Victoria to Calamba)
•From Crossing to Grand Terminal Station of Batangas. (66php - Student fare)
•From Grand Terminal, Ride a Jeep that will take you to Tabangao Port (1000php rent per Jeep so better if you have 9-10 friends with you). You can also wait for other passenger if you are a solo traveler but I think it will take you a long wait.
•And from Tabangao Port, a boat to Isla verde. (100php)
