[video description: a video by thegentlebarn. it starts with a clip of people grooming a cow's snout with the caption, "5 signs a cow is truly ✨ happy ✨." each of the captions describing the signs is accompanied by clips of cows exhibiting them. they are:
"1. they expose their belly for tummy rubs as a sign that they trust you 2. they initiate gentle physical contact like licking or hugging you 3. they're chewing cud - this means they feel safe & their digestive system is doing its thing 👍 4. zoomies! just like with dogs, this is most often a playful, happy behavior 5. they make a 'purring' sound - cows do this when they're extremely relaxed and content. it's like a big exhale"
in the background is peaceful instrumental music.]

Neurodivergent culture is feeling like you constantly have too much free time that it’s driving you insane and yet also feeling like you never have free time because you’re so exhausted from overcoming executive dysfunction to do even simple tasks that seem so easy for everyone else
I made this a little while back; if you’ve seen it on Reddit (r/edanonymemes) it’s mine lol
*smiles while eye is twitching*
Cherish and respect sapphic people.
Let's not go back to normal Let's try something different ❤
Yes.
And trans women are still women.
Their experiences in womanhood and mine are different - but we are both women.
Aphrodite hates TERFs and SWERFs, pass it on

as someone who relies on various medicines to stay alive, im sooooo glad this person has put into words exactly how i feel about the whole ‘life saving hormones’ thing!!!!
luckily we have the nhs over here so i don’t have to worry about medicine costs too much, but my heart truly does go out to those without free healthcare
Okay, but hormones for transgender individuals do save lives.
Gender dysphoria is a major cause of anxiety and depression for transgender individuals - and this is especially true for transgender teenagers who are also dealing with the fact that they are dealing with puberty in a body that they feel like they do not belong in.
A lot of these kids will try to commit suicide when dealing with dysphoria and unable to access these hormones.
I agree that hormones are not life-saving in the same way as insulin is. But I am not going to deny that they do save lives.
Just my thoughts as an ex-TERF.
Suicide is still a choice. Dying of adrenal crisis because I needed prednisone or a Solu-Cortef injection when I did not have it is not a choice. The Reddit OP has a point.
I'm not saying the OP doesn't have a point. My point is that it's dishonest to say that hormones/therapy/etc for transgender people isn't life-saving. I feel like both medical treatments are necessary.

Drawtober 2020 Day 2: Scarf
The background ended seeming a lot more darker once scanned… I’ll have to make sure to test my colours before applying a background (whoops haha) Anyways, heres a sweet little ghost knitting up a scarf, it’s getting colder y'know.
I want to make a sweater inspired by this <3
