a sip to help me breathe, a sip to help me live. every morning the only thing i looked forward to was that Virginia rd roast. a reason to wake up in the morning and the reason I could sleep at night. A perfect blend of what I needed and what I wanted. I had a gut feeling once, but I looked the other way. There was something about the batch that morning that didn’t seem right. I should have known I was drinking spoiled coffee the entire time.

I try to desensitize myself from you. It hurts. I crawl back into a world of numbing nothingness and remember it’s not us. I don’t want it to exist, but I don’t wish it would disappear. I’m stuck on loving you, but could never show it.
