Cas giggled softly at Devin’s playfulness and it was nice. Picnics with him and Winston would be so much fun, even if they did nothing but lay on a blanket and cloud watch. Cas would be content with that. “I know. Some places. And I can ask. About others!” Artem would maybe know some good places, Cas could ask him. He was hesitant about asking Hans, as he didn’t want to upset them with pulling on old memories, but it would serve as a good excuse to go talk to them, if he could. In the meantime, Cas would just have to show Devin the spots that he did know about.

Devin would probably end up falling asleep during one of those picnics, the serene and just the overall warmth he was feeling with Cas would do that. With the other camper close to him and Winston snuggling with him, it was the perfect day. “That would be great! And Winston and I can do some exploring, maybe we’ll find new places together.” He would end up probably making a new place, surrounded by flowers and that didn’t seem so bad at all. Although he hoped that Cas would like it.

Cas squeezed Devin carefully, just happy to be with him, curled up and content and being given all the affection he could ask for. He beamed when Devin agreed to the picnics, lighting up once more. “All the picnics!” He laughed a little after, genuinely excited at the prospect of going on picnics because he really did love spending time with Devin, and anything that gave them more time together was a good thing.

“All the picnics with the tea and sandwiches I can fit inside the picnic basket.” Devin joked, even though he would probably end up doing that. Unintentionally because he would be nervous about it. But hey, it was okay, at least he was going to have a picnic with Cas. And Winston. “But I don’t know all the best places to have picnics here in camp cause I don’t spend as much time here. Would you know?”

Cas could happily stay right here for forever, if that was something he could do. He didn’t think it was possible, but he’d be more than happy to give it a go. He hummed happily as Devin kissed his forehead and then just stayed there. It was…really nice and Cas was so comfortable here. “Okay!” Devin knew so much more than he did- Cas was still re-learning how to use a computer, much less a phone, so Devin would probably be able to figure out when the museum would reopen a lot sooner than Cas would. “Until then. We can maybe. Have a picnic?” Or maybe just a lot more of this. Cas liked spending time with Devin and Winston.

Devin was close to falling asleep like this, warm, happy, and just overall content with how he was right now. But he wanted to remember how the two of them were right now and how Cas was looking at him like that. So excited and happy. He wasn’t really in a rush to plan everything but he just hoped that the date would come sooner rather than later. “Oh! We can have picnics all the time. I don’t have to go to the city all the time now so I’ll be here.”

Cas giggled at Devin’s response and hid his face against Devin’s shoulder again, mostly because he could and because Devin was cute and his smile made Cas’ chest feel all fluttery and warm. Those were good feelings, so he wasn’t mad. “I can’t wait. It will be. So much fun!”

Devin would just keep himself still forever it it meant that Cas would be as happy and as close to him as he is right now. He just pressed another kiss on the son of Eirene’s forehead and kept his lips against his forehead. "Yes, I’m sure it will be. I’ll let you know when we can go to the museum then?” He hoped it would be soon but he also didn’t want to rush it because of the situation and restrictions outside of camp.

Cas was quite content- as content as he could ever remember being, which probably didn’t mean much, but meant just enough. Being curled up with Devin and Winston at their feet was paradise. “It can be!” He beamed at Devin and finally pulled his face away from Devin’s shoulder enough to peek up at him.

Devin was already wishing that they could stay like this forever, just the two of them cuddling with Winston right between them. Asking Cas on a date was mostly because of whim and he was ready to take it back if the other felt uncomfortable about the offer. Until the son of Eirene said yes, which caused him to beam. “Then it’ll be a date.”

Cas was pretty sure that Devin was going to make his cheeks melt off, but that was okay. He loved the son of Persephone anyway. He didn’t see Devin’s blush, too busy trying to hide against his shoulder, but he heard him and smiled so hard his cheeks hurt a little. “I’d like. More kisses. Kisses are good.”

Devin was happy to sit there and cuddle with Cas. He was the happiest when he was with Winston and Cas, which he was currently with right now. Now that they’ve both established that they would like more kisses, he was going to do that. The son of Persephone would like more of the kisses. “That sounds great. But does that mean that the museum trip can be a date instead?”

He giggled as the son of Persephone blushed and snuggled against him. He hummed at the kiss and curled up against Devin. “That’s good. Staying means. More kisses. Maybe?” He flushed after and tried to hide against Devin’s shoulder, embarrassed but not regretful.

Devin had a forever blush on his cheeks around Cas and he doubted that it would really go away. Not that he didn’t mind though because at least he was with the son of Eirene. At the mention of more kisses, he blushed more if that was even possible. “Yes, more kisses. I would really like that a lot. More kisses with you.”

Cas smiled and listened to him. “That is fair. But I meant. Stay with you.” He flushed a bit. “You are warm. And safe. And all things good. And you have. Winston, who I. Also love.” He ducked his head to hide his face against Devin’s shoulder, bright red against the lilac of his hoodie but certainly not about to take any of that back.

Devin looked at Cas as he smiled up at him. He wasn’t expecting the other camper to say that at all which just caused him to blush brightly. The son of Persephone thought of all those things with Cas and he was glad that he wasn’t the only one. “That would be great. I really don’t mind that at all. I’d love to stay with you.” He admitted as well, pressing a kiss on the other’s forehead.

Cas thought that maybe he’d work up the courage to ask for more kisses once his face stopped burning. He made a happy noise as Devin pulled him closer and he nodded a bit, absolutely enjoying the snuggles. “I think I could. Stay like this. For forever.” He’d be happy enough to do so because Devin was wonderful and warm and just perfect and Cas enjoyed being with him very, very much.

Devin was happy to be here with Cas, probably more happy that they’re just lounging around and not walking. Even though Winston would probably enjoy it more that they were going to walk and run around together with their favorite person in the world. “Yeah, I probably would be able to do so too. Although the ADHD might say otherwise.” At the latter, Devin just pouted because that would be true, he would want to get up at some point just because he couldn’t sit still.

Cas wasn’t sure exactly what made Devin smile so happily, but he wanted to figure it out and keep doing it because Devin’s smile was warm and sunny and perfect and Cas was beyond happy to be his friend. He flushed at the kiss, as he always did, because Devin was perfect and Cas maybe wanted more kisses but was pretty sure he’d die from his head exploding if he tried to ask. Devin’s lips were very, very nice. He snuggled even more into Devin’s side, face completely red but sporting a wide grin anyway.

Devin would ask for more kisses but he wasn’t exactly sure if Cas wanted them too. He would probably just ask for more kisses later when his face has settled back into its original color else he would explode just because of that. Small and short kisses, he was fine. Sometimes though, he wanted more than that and he was scared to ask for more. Feeling the other camper snuggle into him, he just let out a happy hum and pulled Cas closer. “I could stay like this for a long time.”

Cas was more than content to be pulled closer to Devin and cuddle him, giggling as Devin blushed once more. Nothing would ever convince him that anything could possibly be cuter than Devin blushing beside him while flowers bloomed. It was his turn to flush after and squeak a little, grinning even so. “I would very much. Like a kiss.”

Devin loved hearing Cas giggle, knowing that he was comfortable around him to do so. He could still remember the first time that the two of them met-- Cas seemed like he was scared of him and it was really the last thing he wanted the other to feel. Matching the grin on the other camper’s face, he leaned forward to press a short but sweet kiss on his friend’s lips. All they’ve really done is peck each other on the lips or on the cheek and he didn’t want to push Cas to do anything he didn’t want.

Cas giggled as Devin blushed because he was so cute. Absolutely the cutest. He snuggled against the son of Persephone. “You are. Very cute.” He hummed after and looked down at Winston. “I think he. Will let us.” After all, he seemed very content right now, at least to Cas. He hoped that Winston was half as comfortable as he seemed- and Devin, too.

Devin just pulled Cas closer to him as they snuggled together on the porch swing. He was the happiest camper right now and nothing can stop him from being the happiest. Nothing at all. Though when he thought his cheeks were back to their original color, the compliment had made him blush brightly again. “He is the best boy. He wouldn’t cockblock us again... Wait, does that mean I can kiss you now?”

Cas giggled softly as flowers bloomed and he touched one with his free hand, genuinely delighted. He looked at Devin after and then leaned against him gently, beaming. He was happy and here was proof that Devin was happy and this was such a good day. He smiled as the son of Persephone spoke. “I think. That’d be fine.” Napping together in the warm sunlight sounded like a great time.

Devin was sure that his cheeks were the exact same color of the red flowers that were surrounding them. He tried to stop the flowers from blooming further else the cabin would be covered. And if Cas didn’t mind that, the son of Persephone would just try and shrug it off. Resting his cheek on the top of Cas’s forehead, he let out another happy sigh. “Maybe Winston will allow us this one time.”

Cas had decided a while ago that he really liked holding Devin’s hand and being with him. He was glad that the son of Persephone seemed to be of the same opinion, and loved that Devin kept inviting him on walks. It was all really nice. He smiled at the other camper and then hummed a bit, a half-written tune that he’d probably give to Devin later because Devin was excellent with music and Cas liked having someone to share it with. “Until then. We can swing!”

Devin sometimes couldn’t control his powers so when he was happy, flowers tended to bloom around him. Just like right now. Even when he was just sitting and holding hands with Cas, he was happy already. He let himself relax and sink further into the porch swing, a small smile on his face when he heard the other camper humming a tune that was unfamiliar to him. Maybe it was something Cas had written or is writing, he didn’t know. “I might just fall asleep right here, to be honest.”

Cas smiled and then giggled. He squeezed Devin’s hand gently, happy. “I would. Love that.” He wouldn’t mind coming out and sitting on the swing with Devin. That sounded very nice, actually, especially if it was like this, holding hands or cuddling. That would be the best, actually. He looked down at Winston and laughed again. “He looks very happy. Maybe we can. Go later.”

Devin felt like he was floating when he heard Cas giggle and then hold his hand, squeezing it even. He was just glad no one was there to actually point out that he probably looked ridiculous because of those gestures making him feel like he was going to burst. The two of them could spend time like this forever and he would still be happy. “Yeah, we can go later. Winston will just whine about it anyways, if he wants to walk.”

Cas giggled as Devin pulled him towards the porch. “We can!” He smiled again. “You can use. This one whenever. You want!” He wouldn’t mind it and he didn’t think Laurent would, though he’d have to ask the other camper later. He settled onto the swing gingerly, holding onto Devin because he was just a little nervous at first. He smiled down at Winston and then at Devin. “This is. Nice.”

Devin grinned at the invitation, and he would take it, as long as Cas and Winston would join him when he did. Cas can’t say no. Well, he can, but then he would rather be with the son of Eirene. “I will keep that in mind, as long as you always sit with me here though.” It would be weird to just plop himself on the porch swing in a different cabin. “It is! Winston seems to be content just laying there too, I’m tempted not to take him out on his walk.”

Cas had found that he very much enjoyed spending time with Devin. Like Laurent, he was just very easy to be around because there wasn’t any guilt about lost memories or dead brothers and maybe he should feel guilty about that but sometimes, he just wanted a break from all the sadness. Devin made it very hard to be sad, and that meant more than Cas could put into words. He’d tried putting it into music, but whether or not he’d been successful was yet to be seen. He giggled and curled his fingers around Devin’s, enjoying the contact. “Okay! Do you want. To sit on the. Porch?” There was a swing now, though Cas had genuinely no idea when it had appeared, or if it’d been there all along. Either way, he loved it.

Devin was happy to spend time with Cas all the time, especially when he would get to see the two play with each other. He always felt light around Cas, mostly because he was seeing the other camper smile, partly because of him. Mostly because of Winston. Squeezing the son of Eirene’s hand, he nodded and pulled him at the same time he stood up. “We can go to the porch swing! I’ve always wanted to try one. I wish I had one in my cabin but we have a swing in the garden instead.” Devin was grinning as Winston just followed him. Settling himself on the porch with Cas right beside him, Winston just plopped himself down by their feet.
