“I guess. I don`t really know everything that I can do yet, though it takes me a while to understand what they mean.” Cassius let out a chuckle. “Yeah, I hope so. It feels like I`m just catching on with my life, because I`m late for 19 years.”

“Ah well it takes some practice getting used to your powers, I know it took me a while when I first got here.” Alec said with an optimistic smile. “Trust me, I get what ya mean, ive only been here for a year and sometimes its still a lot to get used to.”

“We can put it all in a box right now, hide it in a closet? I’m not sure if you’re actually ready to let them all go so maybe that’s best for now?” Danny suggested, pulling his brother for a side hug. “Unless that’s not what you want to do?”

“I think..I think that might a good idea, I don’t know if I can let any of it go just yet.” Alec softly spoke as he leaned against the other for comfort. “Like the ring he gave me, or the picture from our first date..”

“They`re really nice to me. Or just about any animal ever, actually.” Cassius shook Alec`s hand. “It`s nice to meet you too.”

“Im guessing that comes with Cybele being your mother, can you talk to animals too yet?” he questioned curiously, he always liked learning about others abilities. Alec politely shook his hand with a kind smile on his face. “I know this is a lot to take in, but it gets better once you get used to everything around camp.”

“Oh.” Cassius put down the puppy and let them sniff around. “Yeah, by Cybele. I`m Cassius, by the way.” He held out his hand to the blonde.

“Cybele? Thats really neat, no wonder the little guy seems to like you so much.” Alec mused with a warm smile on his face as he held out his own hand to the not so stranger now. “Alec, son of Iris..its nice to meet you!”

“Oh honey, I won’t ever mention him again.” Danny said with an apologetic smile as he saw Alec’s expression change again. “No. You’re not going to blame yourself for this. I’m not letting you blame yourself. It’s not your fault.”

“Thanks.” Alec softly muttered, thankful enough to at least have his brother there to try and cheer him up. “I know, this all just really sucks..like im not sure what to do with all the things he’s given me now..keeping in the cabin will just make me feel worse.”

Skye ate some candies. “I know. I hate her.” She rolled her eyes, laughing. “No, I`m definitely getting back to her. Look, she`s annoying as fuck.” She held up her phone that had endless notification from the bitch.

Alec couldn’t help but chuckle at that. “So ive noticed.” he mused as he glanced at the phone with a raised eyebrow. “Are you sure thats a good idea? I mean if she bothers you, maybe you just need to ignore her.”

Danny put his notebook back in is bag before handing Alec a bottle of watter and a piece of ambrosia. “Hey, you didn’t deserve that. Elias is making a mistake, leaving you.”

Alec eyed the water and ambrosia offered to him, which made him barely crack a smile as he graciously took them in his hands. But the mention of Elias’s name brought the frown back to his face as he shrugged. “I guess..its just feels weird when everything seemed to be going so well. Maybe I did something wrong.”

Cassius picked up the puppy and walked over to the Camper. “Is this your adorable puppy?” he asked, though when he said adorable, he looked directly at the blonde. “I just got here. Confused, but fine. You?”

Alec smiled as he shook his head at the others question. “I wish, he’s a cutie..I think he’s someone else’s around here.” he answered kindly as he curiously raised an eyebrow hearing he was new to camp. “Ah, I know that feeling all too well. Im great thanks, have you been claimed yet?”

Zeus: What do you think about thunderstorms?

Im not the biggest fan of thunderstorms, the noise doesn’t bother me but I don’t like dark and gloomy whether.

Rhea: What’s your favorite type of nature?

I love plants, mainly colorful and amazing smelling flowers. 

Demeter: Do you miss anyone?

I miss my father while im at camp, even if I still try and talk to him when I can through Iris messages or quick visits.

“Oh boy…” After getting claimed just a couple of hours upon arriving Camp Half-Blood, Cassius got a warm welcome from the animals that he passed by. He had no idea that he was a demigod until yesterday, when a satyr told him he could at least check the Camp out to make sure he wasn`t bluffing and that there were others like him. “Aww, you`re so adorable,” he told the dog/cat as he knelt on one knee and pet them. He looked up when he saw a shadow of a Camper beside him. “Hey there.”

Alec wasn’t sitting too far a distance from the puppy, or the stranger who cooed at the cute animal that roamed around the camp. It made the blonde smiled before quickly looking away, only to have his attention focused back to the other at his greeting. “Hello..how’s it going?” he polity questioned.

“You bet your arse it is,” Kieran said with a smile. “I have hamburgers and chips.”

“I knew you were my friend for something.” Alec chuckled as he knelt down to put his bow on the ground. “Gods, im starving.”

Skye took a deep breath and brought out a cup of gummy bears, offering it to Alec. “So, I`ve got a bitch for a seatmate, and then one of my professors had the audacity to tell me to leave the class,” she started telling how it was actually her seatmate that talked loudly and Skye just happened to be blamed for something she didn`t do.

Alec smiled when she offered him the gummy treats, which he gladly accepted while he intently listened. “Its a little silly that you were the one to get in trouble..thats no fair.” he commented with a short nod of his head. “Im sorry that happened, but hey..you just gotta be the bigger person and not let that or your classmate get to you.”

“And did it?” Danny asked, but he knew that it probably just made Alec more frustrated than when he had started. “Oh, I’m sorry to hear that, Alec.” The smile immediately disappeared on his face, a concerned expression replacing it.

“No, not really.” Alec answered quietly as he leaned back while propping himself up by his hands. A soft sigh escaping him as he shrugged his shoulder. “Its..its okay, I guess it was kinda too good to be true.” he muttered with a frown.

Ares: What small thing makes you angry?

People being mean for no reason.

I was decent in art class, im not good to some standards but I still enjoyed it.

Hades: Have you ever had a near-death experience?

I swear I could’ve almost died sword training one time! Im not a fan of sharp objects being swung at my face.
