kendall-monroe:
Kendall’s flight had been pushed back and delayed time after time, and it was really a miracle that he was able to even get to New Quinton before everyone headed out. He was in the middle of prying a suitcase from the back of his rental car’s stupidly-tiny trunk, which only resulted in him stumbling back and knocking someone right upside the head with the duffel.Â
“Shit, shit, sorry,” he grumbled, steadying himself. When he finally got a look at the person he’d smacked, his brows shot up. “Whoah. Hey.”
“Careful, buddy,” Alec told Lucas as the toddler waddled slowly next to him on the sidewalk, nearly tripping over his own little feet. His eyes were focused on the ground when he felt a thud against the side of his head. He stumbled, just barely avoiding knocking over the child next to him. It took him a moment to realize what happened, and when he did he wasn’t even angry. He blinked a few times, staring at the person in front of him. Kendall Monroe. Alec’s face split into a smile, reaching out to hug the other man. “Dude! I’m so glad you made it. Thanks for trying to knock me out there, I got a kid with me, man.”
