Leni peered at Alessandra’s stomach to see if she was showing in any way, before turning back to her babies with a gentle smile. “No, I mean, your going to need to talk to him before your baby is born otherwise you’re going to feel really fucking lonely through the whole thing but I don’t think it’s bad that you’re taking some time to like…get your head together. You’ve got time.” It was true, although pregnancy went so fast in some ways it was still a process in the end. “Yeah the puking is shit, I hope for you it’ll go away soon, cos otherwise it gets hella boring.” Seeing the girl looking at her kids she lapsed into silence, letting the moment just wash over them for a second. “Thank you, they are gorgeous aren’t they? I think it’s because genetically their daddy is some kind of god.” She quipped.

alessandra shook her head looking down at her stomach before nodding, “i know, we’re trying to.. i know i’m going to need him i just think we’re both still trying to wrap our minds around this all.” she sighed before raising a hand to push her hair back as she looked back up, her eyes automatically shifting to the babies. she let out a light laugh nodding, “it’s already getting boring as fuck.. some days i’m good some days just really suck and i’m already over it.” she shook her head again before nodding, “they really are..” she smiled softly.

“Very true! Congrats, by the way. I know you’re probably freaked out a bit right now but I know you’re gonna be an amazing mom.” She smiled encouragingly. “Aw, well maybe you’d like Auntie Stevie best of all. Granted I’ve rarely been able to play the role but I’m happy to reprise it!”

“thank you.. i am completely freaking out and everyone keeps telling me i will be but like i don’t know.” she shook her head letting out a breath before laughing lightly, “you definitely can have aunt rights, i don’t have sisters so so far i think the baby only has like one biological aunt so all the chosen family i can get.”

“What is it with everyone gettin’ pregnant” Sam mused, dumping her briefcase (yes, she owned one, it was sad) on the floor. “I ain’t the best company myself half the time so we can be shit company together.” Sitting down on the floor next to couch, she rested her elbows near Alessandra’s face. “You need somethin’? Aren’t heatpacks supposed to help or whatever?”

“mine is just some really bad karma... i broke a best friend rule i learned not to break rules again.” she muttered with a soft smile shaking her head as she looked over at the girl shaking her head, “i can’t have anything i want for seven more months...” she sighed before shrugging, “this is my first run at pregnancy i have no idea what helps or not i’m learning as i go.”

“kinky,” he said a wink taking a slice after her and immediately taking a bite risking burning his tongue with the hot melting cheese. “true,” unlike her he didn’t cover his mouth, “though i did enjoy the process of it if that helps.” at her next comment he simply shrugged his shoulders and brushed it off. that was for another day. “wait,” setting the slice of pizza down he took the picture in his hand and stared at it with wide eyes. “holy shit…”

she laughed lightly shaking her head, “what is even kinky about me fighting you?” she asked taking another bite of her pizza all but moaning at the taste of it. shaking her head she smiled at him, “i can definitely say i enjoyed the process too, sure we were both stupid but it was very enjoyable.” she smiled as she sat back down beside him, taking small bites of her pizza as she watched him stare down at the picture, “yeah.. you said that already.” she tried to joke but shook her head, “that’s the first picture, they’re a bit bigger than that now but yeah it’s baby’s first picture.” she said quietly too afraid to speak up.

“nah,” he said though his lips turned up in a smile at the mention that he was. at least he was doing something right when it came to this. “hey i helped get you into this mess, so there is no reason you should be sorry. if anything i should be sorry.” crossing his leg under the other he opened the box and held it out to her for her to take the first slice. “you can curse at me all you want during the birth and after you need to. i deserve it.”

“don’t make me fight you.” she said her tone very teasing as she looked over at tanner a smile on her lips. she knew they were still learning from all of this. shaking her head she reached out to grab a piece of pizza taking a bite into it, “don’t say sorry, we were both in a moment. we did this together.” she said covering her mouth as she talked. she again shook her head, “you don’t deserve it please don’t think you do.” she said looking over at him before sitting up quickly getting up from her spot to go through a folder on the table, “before i forget.” she said walking back over and handing over the small sonogram picture, “this is yours.”

“you wanted pizza so i got pizza.” he said smiling brushing his thumb on the back of her hand. “thank you, that is the last thing that you need to be apologizing for.” letting her hand go he moved to sit beside her on the couch, moving to grab the pizza he ordered. “oh? why is that?”

“you are literally the best.” she said softly moving so she was sitting up now so they could sit comfortably on the couch together and so she wasn’t hogging up the entire sofa. she gave a nod, “theres a lot i should be sorry for but i’ll stop the whole sorry thing.” she said softly as she crossed her legs in front of her, “because i’m probably going to curse you out when i give birth, and curse your name a bunch of times and just be a bitch to you for no reason. plus you said i only have to stop for a couple months.”

shutting the door behind him, pizza box in his hand he turned to face the girl on the couch. “hey,” walking over to her he placed the box on the coffee table and bent down to face her face to face. it was then he reached out to grab her hands and squeezed softly. “there is a new rule for these next few months, are you ready? you can not apologize for what my spawn makes you do. you are carrying a fucking baby, there is no need to say ‘im sorry.’ deal?”

there was a small smile that made it’s way on her lips when he crouched down in front of her a light laugh soon escaping her lips, “but i am sorry, i want to be awake right now, you’re here with pizza.” she fought back before she nodded a bit, “but okay dad, no more i’m sorrys for the next couple months.” she smiled softly, “but after that all the i’m sorrys are happening.”

pregnancy in alessandra’s mind right now came at the worst time. she was always tired but when she slept or tried to anyways panic would set in. now all she wanted to do was sleep but she knew she wouldn’t be able to.. groaning as she laid down on the couch she looked at the other, “i’m sorry i’m not the best company.. i’m really trying to be in the moment right now.” she said softly with a small pout on her face.
