Octavian grinned "ya we surprised you!" He giggled

“A hero? I doubt it, but it’s very kind…” Magnus chuckled, knowing he was closer to the monster than the hero with what he did. “I can heal you with my magic if you want…”

Alec looked at him oddly “Magnus this is for you” he said grabbing one of his hurt hands gentlely

“For me? But it’s nothing, really… you were the one held captive for days while I was here, safe.”

Alec shook his head “you’ll always be more important to me than anything” he replied kissing his cheek

“I know, but let me take care of you for now, ok? I’ll heal myself later…”

Alec looked concerned “heal yourself first” he said kissing him worried

Magnus nodded, not wanting to argue with Alexander right now so he healed his bruises with a spell. “Here, see?”

He nodded “okay you can heal me” he held out his arms to his boyfriend

Magnus waved his hands and healed Alec by using his magic.

Alec kissed him in thanks “you didn’t have to do that Magnus”

“Oh? I don’t have to take care of the man i’m in love with?”

(I’m so sorry it didn’t tell me) Alexander grinned “oh Magnus I love you” he cuddled into him mumbling what would I ever do without you

Magnus kissed his forehead, feeling relieved with the young shadowhunter back with him here.

Alec nodded feeling really tired "okay Magnus" he said his eyes not being able to stay open

Max grumbled in his sleep, hugging Octavian closer to him, “No… my turn to sleep…”

In the other room, Magnus thought about his husband question. “Maybe take them to a place he wanted to visit for years? Any idea?”

Alec shrugged “I don’t know maybe…bring him to the Shadowhunter academy? Where we found him? Go look at Idris?”

Magnus smiled, Alec had a great idea as usual and he placed the breakfast on the table while answering him. “We found him at the Institute’s doorstep. He already knows that place… but Idris sounds good.”

Oops… maybe that joke wasn’t a good one. Max loved to use irony but right now, he felt a pang of guilt when he saw Octavian’s reaction. “Shh… I’m okay… I’m sorry…”

Octavian looked at him with teary eyes “promise you won’t leave me? Ever” he snuffled cuddling closer

Max dried the tears he saw, hating that sight, “I promise… I’m not going anywhere… I’m staying here with you.”

At that Octavian purred like a cat and cuddled into he grinned because he was getting to sleep longer
