Using a magnifying glass and X-Acto knife, artist CINDY CHINN has carved a tiny train out of a pencil and its lead. The miniature piece is less than an inch tall and over five-and-a-half inches long, showcasing part of the locomotive barreling through a dark tunnel.  (via: Skumar)

The image above is a detail from an art piece I purchased from AztnwordZ during tonight's First Friday's in Long Beach. The street bands somehow new I was going to be there. Black Noise (and the experience) performed Kiss by Prince and a soulful heavy version of Creep by Radiohead. A block away I stop and hear Hedgehog Swing playing the Star Wars Cantina song.
