My name is Alexis Restum and I'm a student at New Roads School. This is a blog to help me keep track of my ISP. ISP stands for independent study project, it's just a project you do independently (duh) about something you are passionate about. Anyway, my ISP is taking a 5-10 minute excerpt from a script I was writing and filming and editing it.

Update #12 June 4th

It's Portfolio Prep week and I have decided to do a trailer for my final project. I'm going to put it in the ISP gallery on June 9th... It's happening. I have decided to do a trailer, because I want a final project done and I had no time to do everything. So thats that.

Update #10 May 9

God. Life really can't cut me a break, can it? 

I need to make new filming dates because I was sick on May 1st and could not film. Shitty timing, right? 

 I want to film on Sunday but it's Mothers day... I wonder how thats going to  turn out. I can do the Jessie 2 scene easy though. It's the Lily one and the Natalie Michael on I'm most worried about.

I seriously need a deadline or I will never finish.

Update #9 April 30th

I'm filming tomorrow with Emma and Oscar. I've been busy trying to survive my friends and all of lifes twists and turns and I haven't been doing my ISP.

    I piled waaaaaaay to much on myself this year.

-Coming of Age (like bat mitzvah for UU's)

-Parkers Movie

-Writing Goal

-Bunch of time consuming Creative Links

      All this and I have procrastination issues. I might be screwed.... :(

Update #8 (I think) April 20th

I have the majority of my shots and have edited all the rough cuts. I'm waiting to add music to make sure the timing of it looks good with everything. 

I still need to film

- Lily Secret

- Natalie and Michael Secret

Update #7 March 7th

HEY!!!!! Alrighty, heres the deal, Guys&Dolls goes into to tech next week, so rehearsals go till 7pm. Ahhhh! Anyway, I'm planning on doing a bunch of filming during spring break with Sanna and Oscar and Emma. The stuff with Emilia and Zoe will be done in mid April because they are going on spring vacation.  

      The play ends on the 16th so I'm going to be doing a lot more in April than I did in March or February. Otherwise I'll never get this project on it's feet.

Okay, so my life has been totally hectic over the past week, lots of personal things going on and not a lot of time for my lovely ISP. :( Anyway, I'm going to start scheduling more shoot and reshoot dates after I catch up on my core class homework.

On a better note, Sanna isn't sick anymore. So thats good.

Update #4 Feb 8

HEY! Long time no post. Ok soooo again, some of my actors are sick, (Sanna and Emma) which sucks. I have the rough cut of the Brooke and Jessie scenes done. I'm also hoping to do the Lily and Isabel scene the weekend after Valentines day. And when Sanna gets better, we will do the secret scene with her character (Brooke). Everything will probably speed up after I finish doing the school musical, Guys&Dolls on March 16th. Heres hoping I can get it done on time!!!!
