Those of you who know me have realized my obsession with 2 things: social media marketing & guerilla marketing. Having said that I would like to give kudos to Hook Advertising for creating a great campaign...so great in fact that I went to Charleston and hunted down this "Taco Boy." Yes I too am a victim of the media.

This campaign consisted of creating fake parking citations check it out!

QR codes, there is no limit to how these can help your marketing campaign. People love to be engaged in your business. They want to feel like part of the family, like they matter or make a difference. QR codes are so simple and do just that! I find myself interacting with brands that would have never caught my eye, had it not been for curiosity sake. I (like most people) have to know what is in that "hidden message." Don't believe me? PAPYRUS NO MORE!

In the design world Papyrus is an immediate insult to the science of typography! I can't lie, new in the game I have fallen victim to Papyrus' charm but the truth is... it's never very successful. This is a very specified design, as such could have only added flair to a small niche. Having said that I feel like the over use and hype surrounding it has cheapened even that. Case in point: AVATAR! Seriously?? Every word including the logo! Now that I have expressed the same feeling that many of you creatives have add I would like to say how AWESOME font families can be! Take advantage of the wonderful world of typography. I know I for one have spent hours experimenting and researching. Sometimes its more-so type that makes the statement.
