Porsche 968CS, 1993. The Club Sport was a lightweight version of the final iteration of Porsche’s front-engine, rear-transaxle sports coupé that had begun life in 1976 as the 924. The 968 CS was stripped of “luxury equipment” like power windows and some sound deadening, the +2 rear seats were removed. It was powered by a 3.0 litre 16 valve 4-cylinder engine. It was produced for 2 years and wasn’t really replaced until the Cayman was introduced in 2006

Porsche 928, 1980. The original plan was for the 928 to replace the 911, as the ad points out, to take Porsche into the 21st century. Things don’t always go to plan, it continued to be outsold by the 911 and the 928 was discontinued in 1995.
