Found a piece of gold yesterday while transferring some raw files imageries. Many of my pictures are marked as good shots every night during my photo-journey. When I am back in Singapore after the trip, I would quickly process and out put those images that I have marked. And most of the time I already have hundreds of great imageries which were more than enough for me to make selection for publication. But I know there are still many good shot like this which I have missed out. And those images would still be sitting in my trip library. Isn't she beautiful? While her mom drying the coffee beans on the coffee bed, she walks under it. The connection between her and my camera speaks the curiosity about life. It's a wonderful exchange of body language even though no words were spoken. That's the magic of photography. Coffee processing is one of the important step that would change the taste of the coffee beans. This is wash process, it make the coffee beans clam, even and clean and taste likewise. I love how the Ethiopian man and woman process the coffee bean. They sing as they process or picking the coffee. And boy, they sing beautifully and harmoniously. I like to think they make the coffee sweeter hahaha. We are looking at the Ethiopian traditional way of coffee making. The way how the raw coffee beans were being roasted on top of the metal plate. Continue to stir the beans to perfection with the right fire 🔥 Crash the roasted coffee beans and pour into the boiling water inside that black kettle on top of the fire. To boil it for a few minutes and when it is ready, transfer the coffee into the Ethiopia traditional coffee pot and ready to be serve. It is a cup of dark-thick coffee, pretty much closer to a cup of expresso. ☕️ Ethiopia 🇪🇹 coffee culture experience... I love it! Stop stop stop...stop the car I shouted! Who are these people under the big tree? It's actually like a trading weekend market place. The beautiful faces of these Ethiopian friends made me feel so welcome. Without saying much I went down to the ground, pointing my camera upward to captured this moment. Everyone were laughing at me, wondering what I am doing. The connection between them and my camera speaks the joy and curiosity about life. They made my day. I love picking stones by the beach and he was so lovely helping me as well. This is the 2nd largest lake of Ethiopia, Lake Langano is 1635 meters above the sea level. There are hardly any visitor in this area. These kids live a simple life and was so happy to see me. I gave them sweet in exchange for their little rock.
