Alex really is one of the nicest characters. In s1 he was the only one who stood up for tyler from the jocks and the people on the tapes who shut him out, only one who defended clay from everyone else on the tapes and also was on his side for wanting justice for hannah, literally only one who took accountability for their tape and wanted everyone to know the truth, took justin into his house when he was being a dick to him and everyone on the tapes at the time and fed him ++

Yes!!! Alex has a lot compassion for others and he cares so deeply for the people he loves. The reason the other characters stood by him and protected him, even the ones who aren’t as close to him, is because Alex is a genuinely good person who didn’t deserve to have his life ruined and he would have done the same for anyone else in the group! I know Alex has made plenty of mistakes and hasn’t always treated everyone well, but he has done so many things to show that he truly cares about the others and he owns up to his actions. He’s going to have to live with guilt for the rest of his life, but I know he will forever be grateful for what everyone has done for him and will try to always be there if anyone needs him. Alex is a great character and I love him with my whole heart. ❤️
