I have been desperate to try out this device since I saw it advertised online a couple of months ago. I feel like there hasnāt been a lot of reviews on this, not that I have been aware ofĀ anyway. With it being such a unique product in the beauty industry, I just had to give it a go and see if it is all too good to be trueā¦.
The set includes; a bowl, spinning device, different rubber ācollarsāĀ to insert the brushes into, instructions and two brush cleanser samples from the brand. The rubber collars fit all different shapes and sizes of brushes, I didnāt have a problem with any of my brushes. Some you did have to squeeze on and it is a bit of a workout inserting and removing the brushes but, thereās not much you can complain about since thereās not much resolution to this, you need it to be tight or the brushes will obviously fall out! I have some square base brushes which fit into the desired collar without a problem. I do wonder how long the collars will last, as I can imagine they may weaken after a load of uses, however, you can buy replacements from their website.

So the big question isā¦..does it actually work?? In short, yes. Itās pretty darn amazing. Itās so quick and I couldnāt believe that when youāve finished the steps, the brushes are pretty much bone dry, you get the odd damp one, but you can just keep spinning and it should dry.
Okay, so firstly, I used the sample brush cleanser and it worked like a dream. You dab the brush into the cleanser water and then spinĀ inĀ the liquid for 10 seconds, then take the brush out of the liquid and spin for a further 10 seconds, et voila. CLEAN BRUSH!
So once Iād cleaned a fair amount of brushes, I had refilled the bowl and used up the second cleansing sample, I still had a lot of brushes to clean (brush hoarderā¦) so I reached for my trusty Tesco Everyday Value baby shampoo and plonked it in a separate glass and diluted it with water. I dunked my brush into the soapy water, fully saturating the bristles and then put my brush and did the 10 second routine as instructed. Nevertheless, it didnāt seem to work as well as the cleanser, and the brush was still pretty grubby. I then put the shampoo in the bowl, and hoped it wouldnāt froth up too much! I then filled my spare cup with plain water in the sink (because the water overflows without the barrier that the StylPro bowl has) I did the 10 second routine etc and it did froth but thankfully the barrier at the top stopped the bubbles from pouring out over the top! However, this meant you couldnāt use the bowl to dry spin the brush. After lathering up the brush, I then put the brush into the plain water (in the sink) and rinsed it with the spin and then dry spun the brush in the sink to stop spluttering water everywhere! I felt this technique worked and the brushes still came out nice andĀ clean. As you can see from the above picture, it wasnāt quite as squeaky clean as the brush which was cleaned with the cleanser.
After a few more attempts of trial and error (doing two soap and rinsing spins) I found the brushes came out perfectly.
Overall Iām super impressed with the product and believe it is totally worth the money. Itās quick and easy, and saves SO MUCH TIME, especially when considering the time it takes the air dry the brushes. With more saturated brushes, i.e. foundation brushes, you do need to do about 2 or 3 rounds of cleaning, but, itās still 10x easier than doing it by hand. Even better? You donāt finish the cleaning marathon with hands that resemble prunes! Win Win!

Can make your brushes fan out a bit, but if you leave it a tad damp you can just model it back to its original shape.
Ideally you need to have the cleanser for a more efficient clean .
Debatable how long the rubber collars will last.

The cleanser is Ā£9 (150ml) which is quite standard price. NYX had a good cleanser, which is Ā£12 for 250ml, so Iāll be trying that next to see if it works as well as the StylPro cleanser.
An all round thumbs up for me, and Iām looking forward to my next round of brush cleaningā¦..never thought Iād see the day!
