I did it when school and job didn’t take all my time. I miss oil painting. I wanted to paint women with flowers. I started with red background and lily flowers. I think of doing more during my vacation.
For the next one I thought of Magnolia (lol it’s me) a pink and white flower with a blue / green background. Maybe I can do a self portrait?? I love using complementary colors.

Hello everyone
I know this post will be at the end of the blog but I need to do it
I’m AliceHato most of the time. My real name is Magnolia, I’m 19 now. I make a new blog to share different things like publications I like and other atistic works such as 3D sculpture or traditionnal drawing. I don’t want to mix my MMD works with other works. AND I’m tired of MMD yet. Tired of the community (in a very broad sense, I don’t consecrate myself as belonging to a community.) Moreover, although MMD is 3D, I find that its use makes the work less respected by others people.
Next year, I’m going to an art class: “Prépa” I’m really happy to be accepted into the school I wanted since I was 14 years old. At the entrance exam, the examiner told me that I didn’t have to go in first grade and that I could go straight into second grade because my grades were very good. But my mom prefers that I spend the first year to be safe and more comfortable. So I decided to get ahead of what I will do during the second year. And I will share them here.
About this blog : I will post things in english most of the time but maybe in french when I will be too lazy to translate. I will reblog a lot of thing I like, I think pretty or useful ! I try to draw all the details. I tried to accentuate the folds in her clothes. I drew them a long time ago on textures on very old models. I already used this in another image but the "plastic" effect of photoshop is divine! I'm thinking about a tutorial but... meh ..?

I have great news for you. As part of my schooling and art courses program, we have created with friends, an art collective: PLOUD
We did our first performance and wrote a manifesto. For our first work, we created a participative work in which the spectator must participate with us but also WITHOUT us. It was a very interesting experience: After explaining to the audience how our art worked, we didn’t even need to participate anymore but only to supervise. The spectators had to draw their silhouettes and faces on a huge sheet of paper that covered a wall, so they turned into a PLOUD.
The ploud is a simple form, a simplistic “animal” that expresses distress or other exaggerated feelings. We decided this because of private jokes: During our citizenship day, we had to answer some questions to find out if a word existed or not. The word “PLOUD” was in the list. This word was amusing, we kept it. Now, we say PLOUD whenever we are in a situation of distress.
We created for our collective an Instagram account where you could follow us and support our work: https://www.instagram.com/ploudisme/ Our first work is not yet available, it will be unveiled at the end of our studies.
