Sorry, blackthorns as a concept are so gothic. What do you mean there are a bunch of orphaned kids with dark hair, pale skin, and creepy/mesmerizing blue eyes? What do you mean the oldest is constantly drugging his uncle to keep him sane? What do you mean the uncle is a raving lunatic hidden in the attic who befriends vampires and is weirdly obsessed with the ancient history/myths his family is named after? What do you mean the only Blackthorns who don’t have startlingly dark hair are half faerie, smelling of the wild woods, with horrible knowledge, and ears like knives? What do you mean they’ve looked the same for the last 200 years? What do you mean a villain is trying to hunt them for their blood? What do you mean they listen to the raging sea on stormy nights? What do you mean they wake up every day to see their brother wearing the face of the father he killed?

Talking about Ty maybe keeping secrets in TLKoF; my crazy, argument-lacking theory is that the corrupted magic of the power source he used is deteriorating his health in a way and I think Kit and him will probably sorta make up by the end of TLKoF and Kits gonna think that everything’s going to be all right now and then Ty’s gonna pull an “I’m actually dying lol”

#NOT THAT I WANT TY TO DIE OF COURSE #but I think I prefer it when the reason why a couples not together is because of circumstances outside their control #Instead of yk miscommunication and mistakes #I think it makes for a more epic love story #and Kittys already had the misunderstandings and mistakes #so this way they could have BOTH!#I mean they have the potential to be that epic so #…and no I have got nothing to back up this theory #it’s just one of my deliriums #I think it came from the books always talking about ‘consequences’ regarding what Ty did #and considering it would be extremely hypocritical of them to like ostracise him from shadowhunter society for ‘moral’ reasons or smth #I think it will be something beyond their control #the wicked powers #ty blackthorn #the shadowhunter chronicles #kit herondale #tsc #cassandra clare #twp #the dark artifices #tda #kit x ty #tlkof #the last king of faerie

man's demon fetish dooms next generations

guy helps situationship ressuscitate his sister. then gets rejected and moves to another continent

depressed teenager sings a song about demon stds and STILL gets the girl

regular boy gets turned into a RAT. and KIDNAPPED by VAMPIRES.

after participating in attempted genocide, married couple is handed control of local government headquarters/orphanage

straight love burns down a STONE CHURCH. STONE.

fairy enthusiast has reverse fairy harem

immortal cat hates everyone but a dying teenager

woman marries dead husband's bsf

formerly-dead woman's emotional instability causes war

london boy kills the mother of demons with a gun

local man keeps an angel hostage
