“I do, I don’t have to live up to anyone’s expectations.” Augusta shrugged, wrinkling her nose as Alice applied the lipstick, before following her sister.

"It's not about living up to anyone's expectations, sister," Alice shook her head. "It's about living for yourself,” she spoke confidently, linking her arm with Augusta’s. “There’s no harm in enjoying things, please don’t let life pass you by.”

“I like being boring,” The girl retorted, before smiling, “Lead the way.”

"You can't actually mean that, just look at it this way, it's much better to live a little now," Alice encouraged enthusiastically, pulling a red lipstick from her bag and quickly applying it to Augusta with a smile. "Okay," she nodded approvingly before the leading two out the front door.

“Oh, I spilt something on my shirt, nothing major.” Thor bit on his bottom lip, “Oh well then I’m totally down, it would be nice to catch up with you again.”

"Right, hopefully it's not a something that'll end up leaving a stain." Alice joked lightly, nodding with a soft smile. "You too. Any place in particular that interests you?"

Julian looked away momentarily when Alice informed him that there was no pulse. He scanned the area with his eyes as she spoke before he turned back to her. Julian noticed the note in Alice’s fingers and he raised a brow as he took a step towards her, “What’s that? What does it say?”

Alice's lips curled into a frown, eyes adjusting to the different characters on the parchment. "I'm not entirely sure, if I'm being honest," she told him truthfully, holding it out once she was done. "It seems to be some sort of secret message, or code even. I never took ancient runes."

“Yes, yes I’d prefer that,” Vonnie said, sharing the weak smile. “So you’ll patch me up then?”

"Of course, let me just go grab a few things from my bag," Alice nodded, turning on her heel to do just that before returning moments later, mind instantly going into work mode.
