@fragmentedimensions :: you thought you escaped? think again
It had been a time since Yog-Sothoth returned to those old castle ruins. He had stayed in the room given to him by that kind stranger for a while, but eventually was forced to flee. Now, months later, heâs back. The Chaotic was bigger, with a mask covering his face but exposing his eyes, and a black, feathered cloak that hugged his body like a pair of wings.Â
His appearance could easily blend in with the dark, but he wasnât focused on hiding. Instead, he was looking for that same stranger, or the Zoroark that had accompanied him, alert as he wandered, crawling over the rubble.Â
N wasnât sure when the other had left. During one of his visits back, the other had simply disappeared without a trace. And the trainer thought that was it. Perhaps their paths would cross again, perhaps not. Regardless, heâd return every now and then to his old home.
During his visit back, Zoroark had picked up a familiar scent. It wasnât one he liked, but at least he knew this one wasnât a complete stranger. âZoroark?â The man questioned as the Pokemon had gone ahead to make sure he was right about this scent. And it seemed he was, even if the otherâs appearance had changed. N had followed shortly, wanting to see what- or who Zoroark had come across.
Yog-Sothoth was just slightly grateful to see the Pokemon, smiling behind his mask. He offers out his hand towards him, as if to show he was no threat. He even lowered just a little so as to not be towering over the fox. Up until he heard N's voice.
"Hello again."
His voice was calm, clear. It didn't sound confident, but far from the trembling tone he had during their first meeting. He took a step back after a moment, taking a bit of a breath.
"Been a while."
lmao guess who got arrested because he didn't play nice
Yog-Sothoth shrugs a bit, hearing the question but opting not to answer it. He moves to sit on the couch, a bit awkward in his position, but it was comfortable to him. Abominations such as himself often found comfort in things either odd or downright abhorrent. This was no exception.Â
âHuh... Itâs okay, uh.. I wasnât really expecting a human to come by, either. At first, when I smelled you, I sort of wrote it off since Osiris isnât really, friendly, with a lot of humans. I thought you were going to see Bastet or something. Maybe Set... We go a bit back, only because I used to be a god too...â
... It registers after a moment just how strange his sentence sounded. Chaotics had sharper senses, and Yog was no exception. Of course he would have been able to catch Emma from a mile away, but that didnât mean he had to say it.

âIâll tell you all of that when I get there. Iâll head over shortly.â Oz keeps his tone reassuring, before his next sentence changes direction. âSheâs safe, you donât need to worry about her. Iâll see you both soon.â -click!
Yogâs shoulders slump a little as he relaxes, nodding slowly. One hand trails up to his mask, dragging it down. He puts on his glasses, breathing out a rough sigh. The Chaotic kept his eyes on Emma, as if she was about to attack him.
â... Iâm Yog-Sothoth... Osiris was supposed to take me to Black Ground, but he got tied up... He was helping me hide here, but...â
He looked a bit more than uncomfortable, his tone shaking.
âThatâs not really viable anymore. Oz needs the truck so I can sit in the back.â

"I hope Oz can save the Fairy File.. all of ALICE."
With his legs dangling off the edge of the platform, Colchis couldn't help but think aloud. The Carroll Games were in full swing, and he hated it. He hated those rules the wicked rabbit came up with. [ 1. Find me. 2. Kill me. If you don't, I'll reformat ALICE! ]
The last sentence had been ringing in his head, and he shook, leaning against the ram in hopes of finding comfort.
"He's all we have to bet on right now, with Snow and Purrault... Hey, don't take it too hard on yourself. I didn't qualify either."
The qualifying games... Only those that passed could even participate in the real game, but neither Aries nor Colchis did. The former made it past the first round before being knocked back, but it weighed on the sheep that he didn't even make it that far. Both shared the useless feeling. Carding his fingers through his hair, Aries shrugs as he looks towards the sky, stars dim. Oz, Snow White, and Purrault had already left to go fight, representing the Fairy File, and he just hoped they counted, despite being outsiders.
"Its not that. It's that we're waiting for the end now. And we can't do anything about it. If nobody finds him..."
"At least humans can leave, back to their world. But we're... We would be..."
Both go silent, keeping their eyes down. They could only hope, but such is an empty thing when death is on ones doorstep.
