Y’all are gonna HATE this but tomorrow’s update might not be a continuation of last years because in the past when old Xian announces a Xmas chapter that’s a continuation of tianshan reunion they link the previous chapters, they didn’t do that this year 😭 Old Xian could very much be doing what they did in 2020 and just giving a Christmas themed chapter not an actual continuation. I'm reading about how Israel, in the immediate aftermath of the 1948 Nakba, deliberately replaced olive trees and other indigenous flora with European plants. This ecological disaster, which is now proudly hailed under the banner of 'making the desert bloom,' was done to 'de-Arabize' the landscape, and to cover up - often with fast-growing European pine trees -the ruins of Palestinian villages that were destroyed by Zionists forces.
