hello i am in love with Peacekeeper Wish her design fills me with immense joy . can you yap about her

thank you! Q_Q I love my girl so it makes me so happy to see other people liking her too!

Wish is from a comic I've started working on this year after finally finishing up the basic outline last year. It's a magical girl story in a sci fi dark fantasy setting. Right now I'm just working on buffers and other things like animations which I plan to post aswell. (all my teen years of making animation memes and obsessing over fanime has trained me for this moment lmfao)

but for now I'll just talk about some design elements from her magical girl outfit that I really like!

While the most easily recognizable symbol associated with her is the crescent moon, she's meant to evoke the feeling of the sky in it's entirety.

Her bright blue and white outfit-> A bright sunny day

The spikes on her crown aswell as the golden ring(kinda looks like a Crinoline) on her skirt -> The sun

The crescent moon is obviously -> The moon

and her cape -> A starry sky

This aspect of her design is more apparent in specific moments in the story but that's too spoilery (and I haven't finished any drawings of it yet Q_Q)

but yeah, in universe her becoming a magical girl is pretty special. So i spent the most time on her design.

Peacekeeper Wish / Diantha is the protagonist of a story I'm working on about magical girls in an apocalyptic earth. It's going to be a little dark while retaining the emotional core from all the magical girl stories I love.

As for the story: 'Peacekeepers' are magical girls who fight aliens. However the fight's been in a stale mate ever since one of the magical girls disappeared without a trace.

Diantha Rosario, a regular girl, suddenly encounters a Peacekeeper with no memory of who she is and nobody that recognizes her. Her friendship with this strange girl is the turning point for when the conflict between humanity and aliens begins to finally turn in their favor.
