That's what gets me the most about all this, honestly. Carol is such a kind, genuine soul; I am.... flabbergasted that he wholeheartedly believed a sweetheart like her actually hated him. But ... I can see why hed come to that conclusion, because his thought process at the time was fueled by the inferiority complex he has with her. Which is obviously something Carol is not responsible for, since she never said or done anything to make him feel like he was less than her.

God this man... had so many problems he needed help with. And would have got it if he just ASKED for it.
