Bad bitch?
The women, teenagers, and young girls in today’s society seem to be so obsessed with being a “bad bitch”. What is a “bad bitch”? What does being a “bad bitch” consist of? What is the obsession over it? Is being a “bad bitch” a instagram model? Or having success?
Being a bad bitch bitch to me means growing in life and doing everything possible to reach success.
Here are a few of my own personal tips to becoming a “Bad Bitch”:
Take Care of Your Body Inside and Out
-Drink water! Water is important for keeping the skin clear and cleansing the body of all toxins. It also can benefit weight loss.
-Exercise! Keep that body right and tight!
-Stretch in order to increase flexibility.
-Eat healthy! Eating healthy does not necessarily mean cutting out all junk food. It is okay to splurge every now and then but making sure you are consuming the necessary amount of fruits and vegetable on a day to day basis.
-Moisturize your skin! (I think that is pretty self explanatory. We don’t want to be dry out here!)
-Want your perfume to last? Put a bit of vitamin E oil in your hand. Spray your perfume in the oil. Rub all over your body. Perfume sticks to oil better than dry skin.
-Deep condition your hair once a week.
-Do not wash your hair every day.
-Massage your scalp daily.
-Take hair, skin, and nail pills.
- Use a washcloth to wash your body. Loofahs are filled with bacteria after multiple uses.
-Use a natural body wash.
-Exfoliate with a scrub or exfoliating gloves at least 3 times a week. Exfoliating gets rid of dead skin.
-Drink green tea!
-Wash your face every day and night. Be sure to remove all makeup before going to sleep.
-Go to your annual doctor’s appointment
Mental Health
-Read a book
-Meditate/Pray for 15-20 minutes a day.
-Stay off of social media for at least 2 hours a day.
-Positive vibes only! Eliminate all negativity around you. Even if it means ending a friendship or relationship. Your happiness is important.
-Find a hobby.
-Write in a journal.
-Go for a walk or swim by yourself for total relaxation and a chance to reflect on life.
-Do not think negative thoughts about yourself!
-Comparing yourself to others will get you nowhere. Be who you want to be! This is your life.
-Listen to your favorite songs.
-Ride a bike.
-Learn a new skill.
-Go to the beach
Students
-Pay attention in class! This is beyond important! It can be difficult to pay attention especially when there are 100+ people in the class. Paying attention is the only way to achieving good grades.
-Study! Study! Study! There will always be parties. You’re classes are what will help you reach your goal.
-Develop a relationship with your professors. Developing a relationship with them will help your professors put a face to the work being turned in.
-Go to office hours! This shows your professors you are willing to work hard and put forth effort to get a great grade.
-Do your homework as soon as you get it.
-Do not procrastinate.
-Keep a planner in order to stay organized.
“Adulting”
-Pay your bills and pay them on time!
-Create a budget and stick to it!
-Spend wisely.
-Save money! Even save your change. All of it adds up.
-Check your credit!
-Do not overuse your credit cards!
-Eliminate anything you do not really use such as cable or gym memberships.
-Always stick to your word and do what you say you are going to do.
-Be responsible!
-Depend on yourself. Make your own decisions for your life with your resources.
-Pay off your debt.
-Live below your means
-Have an emergency fund
-Read a few personal finance books
-Clean the space you live in at least once a week
-Always be aware of what is going on in the world.
-Prioritize your life.
-Manage your time wisely!
-Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep every night.
