Jae didn’t instantly recognize the blonde, but when she finally did, it made all of the sense in the world why the man with her was looking so concerned. Not that he had anything to worry about, because while she liked the other’s music, she wasn’t some crazed mega fan that was attempting to stalk her. Still, she understood the need to be cautious, being well-known herself. Granted, she wasn’t so famous she needed a body guard, yet, but being an author was different than being a singer, as she was starting to learn from experience. She’d only just released her first song a little over a week ago and it was already blowing up. “Oh, I’m good. I’m great. I swear I’m not hiding here because this is your car… I was kind of attempting to dodge someone and jumped behind the car that was closest to where I was standing at the time,” she explained, as she stood. She would understand if she wasn’t believed, but, well, it was the truth regardless.
Alison often did things that were against what her body guard or management would want. But, at the end of the day she was more than a singer. She was a person, with human emotions and connections and enjoyed that connection with other people. Alison knew they were looking out for her, trying to protect her. But, she sometimes just needed to be just like any other normal person, if that meant ducking behind her car, having a chat with someone, then so be it. “Attempting to dodge someone?” The blonde asked, “Do you feel as though you are in danger?”
