All the council stuff, I pretend to be oblivious cause no one wants me to “worry” but I know a whole lot of it. It was a different time. But it did bring everyone together.

They know you worry whether you’re oblivious or not. We never had to deal with a council, but we had enough happen that keeping anyone in the dark is useless and I don’t know how everyone hasn’t figured that out. It...definitely did that. Along with a lot of other stuff, but it’s all in the past. I doubt you’d want to hear about that, anyway.

There is more going on behind closed doors than most of them know. Camp seemed…very intimate. Everyone knew everything but at least no one had to hide.

Things like what? Or just the usual supernatural drama? It was an...interesting place. Full of kids who thought their parents abandoned them, and parents who didn’t think we were possible, and it was dramatic to a sad degree. But, it, uh...for me at least, it ended up saving me. Your dad too, not that he’d probably want you to know that.

No, it’s actually pretty terrible. Honestly, Camp was better, even if it was...pretty awful, usually, but it’s what it is now, unfortunately.

It’s Mystic Falls, baby, they've always had a hard time understanding us. Then again, me and your dad both grew up in New York and had the same problem. We left for...different reasons, but the inferiority of them is fun to mess with.

“Don’t let Beca hear you say that, she might take it personally. Maybe you should. But it might take awhile, my parents keep stealing him away.”
