Icey Start [Aiden and Joel]

"Hello there" Aiden looked at the man, noticing the hand that rested on a sword… Shit, he had already had one fight… "Hey look man, i’m not going to hurt you lay off the sword? The name’s Aiden, whats yours? Surely i should know it if you’re gonna slice my head off" Aiden chuckled nervously.
Fuck, he did not want this, strangely Aiden could almost feel another presence in the room, but quickly shook it off. It was obviously the bodies getting to him. Since someone else was in the room, Aiden lifted the temperature slowly, leaving the magic to flow back into his veins. This place was making him itch, the confined space felt like a prison and Aiden didn’t like prisons…
Aiden swiped the room again, giving a defeated sigh he directed his gaze back to the man who had entered. Aiden felt the need to cover the silence giving no room for anymore thoughts to the place he was in. “Do you know anything about this?” He asked trying to seem confident, for some reason this guy made him extremely uncomfortable and not at all himself…
Joel decided to play things cool, he let his hand fall from the sword and rest at his side. “I’m Joel. And I’ve got no intention to start slicing people up yet.” Joel wondered how that long that would last. He doubted he’d get out of here without cutting someone, though probably none of the people he’d seen so far.
The room returned to normal temperature, meaning it was Aiden who was messing with it for whatever reason. He asked about everything going on which meant he didn’t have any idea. “I doubt I know any more than you. I don’t know why I’m here, I’m guessing you don’t either. I don’t know where this place is and an attempt to find out was blocked somehow. I’m sure this is happening for a reason but whatever that reason is it’s not apparent, yet.” Joel walked around the plaza as he spoke but he noticed The Storm didn’t move, she just stood still, intently focused on Aiden.
"Nice to meet you Joel, i'm glad ya anit gonna slice me yet! Seems a like the type of thing this place wants really..." Aiden spoke in a normal tone, at least the man, Joel, had taken his hand off the sword. Aiden would of course let the man before him make the first move, but alas it would be the mans last. Considering Aiden had magic to freeze him, he wasn't a killer by any means, despite his reputation...
Moving his thoughts along Aiden focused on what Joel was saying, he might know something useful after all. "Nah mate, i was on a... Job, then bang i was in this place, pretty creepy ay?" The natural cockney accent slipping through; "yeah, no place ever makes itself know until all awaken, in my experience, i'm guessing this place is supernatural though considering the creatures around us. I don't detect anything supernatural 'bout you yet mate, but thats someething different ay?" Aiden kept his eyes on a certain place within the plaza still feeling something rather off about it, besides the bodies. Only time would tell what, however Aiden didn't plan to stick around long enough to find out.
