So I just need to level with where the project is at
In short? I can’t pay my bills and I don’t live large, so somethings has to change.
I spent the first 15 minutes of tonight talking about the financial strain of the last four months and then proposing various solutions. You need to know, as a fant of the podcast, that most of those solutions include way less content than right now.
The plan before these last four months was to due three (3) seasons of fourteen (14) episodes a piece, giving you 42 episodes a year, with 10 weeks off for me.
However, my income from the podcast has only decreased every month for the last four months. I’ve asked, I’ve pleaded, for you guys to share the message and spread the word, but it’s just not happening, almost nobody is putting notes on the podcast, reblogging/retweeting it, sending it out, etc.
Without that word of mouth? One of the following is going to happen the podcast:
1. I just have to suspend it for good until I can make it for free again without strain.
2. I’ll go to bi-weekly, and you’ll get around 25 episodes a year.
3. Three seasons of 9 episodes a week, giving me the other half a year off to earn an income.
But to be clear, this is neither about you sending in tips or one time income, nor is it only about money.
This is about building a bigger following that will allow me to continue making content for the project and engaging more in my personal life.
One of the big reasons why I’m saying this now is because Valentine’s Day really hurt me. Literally more people wrote in to say how much they appreciated me than reblogged or retweeted the actual episode. People were literally taking the time to thank me and say “never stop” while my income, my following and my status on the internet dwindled and made it harder to do just that.
It hurt. It stinks. I put everything I had into the last four months of content and that Valentine’s episode. To get such a little public reaction when public reaction makes the difference between poverty and being well off, literally.
Literally, the thing that has kept me in a “hell hole” and a “rat trap” for these extra months has been the lack of public attention paid to my work. Nothing else. A few more reblogs, a few more fans, and it wouldn’t be the case.
So I’m asking you to please, please, please help me find a bigger audience, and thus, a better income stream from what I’m doing.
If not? I’m going to have to stop doing it. I don’t have any more options.

I have absolutely put my best self and work and effort forward these last four months. I know that I can get paid many more times what I am now if I put it up behind a paywall. I don’t want to, but I will, because it’s coming down to survival. It’s coming down to buying medicine and/or begging you when I get too low on funds again, and I’m just not going to do that.
