I've been doing a Grantchester rewatch again (S10 starts in the UK tomorrow) and my need to write Will Davenport reader inserts has returned. I didn't actually do any when I said I would before because it just never happened. 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

I've not written any fanfic in so long though so I worry it'll be rubbish. 😂

Just watched Velvet Goldmine and I have one question which I'll put under the cut incase it's a spoiler for anyone who's yet to see it on the tags.

Did Arthur just wish he was with Curt on that rooftop (like a fantasy)? Because how come Curt didn't seem to know who he was when Arthur met him in his investigation?

Apologies if it's obvious, but that's the only real part that confused me. 😂

Here's my first attempt at some Christian art, and naturally one of the first characters I wanted to try was Jack "Cowboy" Kelly from the 1992 film 'Newsies'. ☺️

Probably will do other characters soon as I want to draw Irving Rosenfeld and Jamie Graham in particular (but have a few I want to at least try)!

So, Empire Of The Sun was just heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. I can't even fully put it into words.

Honestly think it's immediately become one of my favourite films (can you say that after one watch?) and one of the best performances I've seen from anyone in film by Christian. The fact he was just 12 years old blows my absolute mind because oh my god, he was utterly fantastic in it.

He made me cry, several times. Not just because of his performance, but the fact he was an absolute cutie pie (and still is, just an older, hot, cutie pie).

I decided not to watch a film of his tonight, (but did watch one this afternoon) because I thought the hyperfixation had been wiring my brain so much that it's messing with my sleep.

BUT I ended up starting an art (which I now don't even like) of him and I feel the same result has occurred. 🤦🏻‍♀️
