I was scrolling through my Facebook Memories and on 4/23 in multiple years, it snowed in Syracuse. It snowed in Houghton this morning, so I figured I'd share this oldie from years past where my entire face froze. (And it's proof of a fun fact no one ever believes: my eyes are two different colors🤗👀😗) (at Shaw Hall)

There’s something odd about mental disorders. One minute, you feel as though you fit in and that people want you to be a part of your life. Then you thank your lucky stars, go to bed, wake up and feel so alone.

I hate sitting in my room, in the dark, alone, crying, but- for some reason- I keep ending my week right here. Feeling so alone and abandoned, so unwanted, so destroyed. I know someday my heart wont feel so heavy yet empty, I just don’t want to keep waiting

The only other neighbor I look up to is Mr. Feeny

Today is one of the many days I have a hard time getting through without tearing up a few times. Today, March 14th, would have been my grandmother's 85th birthday. This incredible woman taught me so much about being strong and how to make it through this crazy world. Not a day goes by where I don't miss her, wishing for just one more hug, one more adventure. Hope you're having a great birthday party in heaven right now, Gammy. ❤
