It shouldn’t be this way. I shouldn’t wake up in pain and have to brace myself for the even more pain to come with the day ahead of me. I shouldn’t have to go to sleep drowning in the oceans I make with my eyes. I shouldn’t have to feel like a broken record always reassuring people I’m fine. because I’m not. and every day is a just me reliving the same nightmare except with each new day, I find a new reason to hate myself. it shouldn’t be this way.
