Celebrating the Year of the Tiger with @hudabeautyshop Tiger Palette 🐅🧧 They redid the packaging with a Lunar New Year theme, but the palette was first released last year as part of the Wild Obsessions collection, and it is one of my favorites! The shadow in the middle is such a beautiful duo chrome, it shifts between light pink and gold, to an almost wet-like glow! The lipstick is Miss America from the new Liquid Matte Ultra Comfort Transfer-proof Lipstick line; these are lightweight and really comfortable to wear. They don’t make my lips feel like desiccated bugs, and they stay on my lips all day! I also must give a huge shoutout to the @hudabeauty Quick ‘N Easy Precision Liner! You guys know the Tattoo Liner from @kvdbeauty has been my absolute favorite liner for years, and while I still love it, this one might be my new favorite. The super fine brush tip makes it SO easy to make precise lines, and the formula is really long wearing. You will see when I post the Behind the Swatch and Unswatching videos of this one! It is National Cuddle Up Day! So let’s do a quick Swatch and Learn! #letsswatchandlearn 🤓📚 Did you know that snuggling releases oxytocin? Oxytocin, is a hormone “the love hormone”, which aside from making us feel good and comforted, also reduces pain, and helps lower blood pressure, anxiety, and levels of the stress hormone, cortisol. So get your snug on! Or hug someone (a friend, family member, pet…), hugs can be just as beneficial! (Do keep in mind we are still in a pandemic, so hug responsibly 😉) BONUS FACT: Oxytocin is also the hormone that stimulates the uterine muscles to contract during childbirth. There is a manufactured/synthetic version called Pitocin, which is used to induce labor or to move labor along when medically necessary. Breast exam ✔️… It’s October, and you know what that means… that’s right, it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month! So go ahead and feel your boobies!! 🎀 Since annual mammograms don’t usually start until your 40s, self examinations and awareness of any changes in your body are incredibly important in the possible early detection of breast cancer. It does not matter what shape, size, color, age, or even sex (yes, men can also get it!), they are all at risk of cancer. So raise those arms (one at a time) and self examine those boobies and armpits. Use your fingerpads to massage your breast up and down, and in circular motions to feel for lumps. Also be sure to check for any shape irregularities of the breast and nipple, skin color and texture change, as well as any nipple discharge. Be sure to do this at least once a month!! It does not take very long to do. I usually do it in the shower or after I get out of the shower when I am applying body lotion. Your doctor can also give you a breast examination during a physical. Slowly trying to make my way back as I continue to recover from being sick in bed for over 2 weeks with 👑🦠🤒😷, so please bare with me 🙁 … but I wanted to finally share this swatch art I made right before I got sick, of the new @bhcosmetics x @dojacat Mega Palette! Hope you guys like it! The colors are so rich and pigmented, they were super easy to work with. Plus I am in love with all the gorgeous earthy tones! 😍🌱🍂🍁 I also did sort of a wear test with this swatch, which I will be posting soon, so keep an eye out for that!! Fall vibes with the @natashadenona Retro Palette. 🍂 I love the mini Retro and have used it non stop, so when she announced the release of a full sized Retro, I was really excited.
