Anywayyyy, to the design. 

After cleaning, filing, and shaping the nails and applying a base coat:

1. apply one to two thin coats of metallic silver polish (you want this to be opaque but you also want it to dry fast so if you can get away with one coat, do that!)

2. apply a thin coat of quick dry topcoat and let that dry completely

3. once the polish has dried, apply three little pieces of striping tape to each nail (in random directions)

4. apply liquid latex (or clear tape) all around the nail (to save on clean up time later)

5. apply big gloopy drops of white, turquoise/blue, and purple/pink polish to the nail. Quickly take a little piece of plastic wrap (I recommend cutting up the plastic wrap and little pieces of striping tape before you begin your design) and apply that on top of the globs of polish. Smoosh it around a little bit with your finger. 

6. quickly peel off the plastic wrap and the liquid latex and striping tape (I recommend using a pair of tweezers to peel off the liquid latex and striping tape)

7. clean up any remaining mess using a small brush and some acetone

8. apply a tiny little dot of top coat and then place a little black gem on the intersections of your little silver lines
