Also known as "Head of a Young Girl With Turban", it is one of the masterpieces of the Dutch painter Johannes Vermeer, performed between 1665 and 1667. Vermeer uses a pearl earring as a focal point.

The painting is currently in the Mauritshuis Museum in The Hague.
