Day 1: Vega One All-In-One Shake - Coconut Almond 

For dinner tonight I cracked open a Vega Coconut Almond All-In-One shake pack. I combined it with just water to get a real feel of how this tastes. Not gonna lie, I feel somewhat guilty that I gave this to coworkers to try as well. Why? Read below: 

Gluten Free & Dairy Free - Check! This product is gluten free & vegan.

Fair Price - Not too bad. A large box will run you $60.00 but I bought the sample box for trial.

Digestive Rating - So far in the clear. This will be updated in 24 hours 

Smell - PREPRARE YOURSELF. This shake has a very distinct smell and it’s not a great one. I will say the smell went away about 1/4th way through drinking it. Maybe my nose got used to it? I don’t know. 

Taste - OK but kinda weird. It mixes really well, and it’s a very strong and bold flavor. I think it would be hella good mixed with coffee. I don’t hate it, but would definitely mix it with almond milk or coffee in the future. 

My guilt comes from the overwhelming smell of this shake. I’m curious to see if my coworkers agree the smell is strong. One is a fitness buff and the other is a hardcore gluten free pal. I also realized I left a protein pack on the wrong desk so OOPS. 

Right now it gets 3/5 stars. Updates will continue.

Hi fitness friends! 

I’ve decided to embark on a new expedition called the great protein shake find. I am looking for the BEST protein shake and will be rated on the following:

Gluten Free & Dairy Free - This is a must. I want to find something that is friendly to all of my friends and my stomach! 

Fair Price - Real talk, I’m a 24 year old kid that wants to travel. I don’t want to blow my hard earned coin on protein powder!

Digestive Rating - I will fully disclose if this shit will fuck you up

Smell - This is a real thing.

Taste - Of course it has to taste good. DUH

Carb / Protein Ratio - Does it actually contain a solid amount of protein?? Is it super carb heavy??
