it had been exactly four days since she’d last been here. truthfully, julian’s penthouse was one of the places she frequented the most in tallow, which was a stretch for adriana. she was usually non-commital with these things, but here she was again, knocking on his door. to most people it would look like she was just in it for the money —which was true, at least in the beggining—, but deep down, was she really in it just for the goods? she wasn’t sure. entering the luxurious home, she turned to look at the man. “i’ve decided to grace you with my presence once more. hello.”
julian couldn’t exactly be labelled as committed to much of anything, but he was always happy to see adriana walk through his doors after he’d buzzed her in. he’d been sitting by his grand piano when he heard her knock, causing him to get up rather promptly and flatten his button up on his way to the doors. chuckling softly at her entrance, julian rested a gentle hand on her waist to greet her. “ and she’s back. ” he said with a smile, “ i can’t wait for you to see the new chanel bag. should i order food of some sort? ” he gave her a peck before leading her over to the sofa, where her gift was sitting on the table. “ what’s with the emotional tweeting, my bonny? ”
“you’re the worst.” theo rolled his eyes, disappointed in the other. “i can’t believe you, i’m not going up by myself and you’ll have literally ruined my whole life if you don’t join, dude. i’ll buy you something…”
“ i’m the only sober person here. ” julian pointed out. he was almost always acting extra, but karaoke with theo was not something that he wanted to be youtubed. “ mate if that’s the thing that’s gonna ruin your life then we must have it pretty good. ” he laughed, obviously they did. “ i don’t need you to buy me anything, that’s not gonna work. ”

“ we actually closed up just now, ” talia told the other as she was about to lock up the gate leading to the horseback trails. “ but if you ask nicely enough i might just be able to take you on a private tour. and let me tell you, riding at night is much better than during daytime. the weather becomes actually tolerable and the stars make up for the view. ”
“ shame. ” julian said with a frown, glancing up at talia at the mention of a private tour. “ i don’t really think horseback riding is for me, anyway. ” he admitted, “ but if you’re free i’m sure we can find something a little more suitable? ”
