Allison: hey are you up?
Allison: I had a bad dream.

âItâs alright Allison, I donât blame you for what happened. That night was just a really bad night where a lot of little things added up to be a tragedy.â Lydia replied, not wanting Allison to spend too much time feeling back about her death. She wrapped her arms around Allison, holding her best friend as close as possible. âI am so thankful that you are back. There have been so many times that we have needed you.â
Allison chuckled. "Honestly, I'm not surprised. A year is along time to not need help from the best archer in Beacon Hills," she bragged, not sure if that still applied to her. she paused, a thought forming in her head. "Is Stiles okay?" she asked. "Is the Nogitsune gone?" The latter question was what really bothered her.

Lydia couldnât help but feel a lump in her throat as she thought about the weeks following Allisonâs death. Those weeks had been some of the hardest in her life, and sheâs felt a pain greater than she had ever thought was possible. Sheâd lost too many people in her life, and at that point sheâd been beginning to come undone. âIt was hard. It was really freaking hard. I felt sad, I felt angry, I felt guilty. Honestly, I was a mess for a long time.â Lydia replied, knowing her best friend wasnât looking for a sugar-coated answer.
Allison nodded. she understood how she felt; Allison herself had felt that way after her mother's death. She went dark, ready to kill every werewolf that stood in her way, "I understand. I'm sorry for making you feel that way." She paused, wrapping her arm around her best friend. "Hey, at least I'm back," she pointed out, smiling.

Allison nodded. She was a little bit worried about it, but she trusted her cousin is okay. âOkay. At least Audreyâs here. It would be nice to see her soon.â So much had changed since she died, It was like she travelled through time in only a few seconds. Itâs amazing what death can do to you.
Lydia smiled at Allison, glad that she was able to give her some good news. So many things had happened in the last year, and she was happy that some of them were good things. âI am sure that Audrey will be happy so see you. She seemed to really love you a lot.â Lydia replied, remembering how Audrey talked about Allison the day that they met.
"That's comforting," Allison said. She was glad her cousin wasn't bitter over her death. "How did you feel when I died, Lydia? I know it's a tough question, but I'm curious."
Allison walked down the barely lit street, pondering where she should go. She could go to Lydia's house, but Allison had already told her she could use some time off. She would have gone to her dad's house, but he wasn't in Beacon Hills. Scott wasn't in town, and it would be plain awkward to go to Kira's house. Before she could think of anything else, she bumped info somebody- or someone bumped into her- and they fell down. Either way, she turned around, instinctively apologizing. "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry are you okay?" She knelt down.

Allison stood outside the concert hall, listening to the lonely trumpet. She was nervous, even though she was told Danny knew about werewolves. When he stopped playing, Allison went in the door, clapping politely. "Good job, Danny." (armanimahealani)

âYeah, she got here a while ago. Sheâs been being really helpful.â Lydia replied, thinking back to how useful Audrey has been seen moving to Beacon Hills. She knew that having Audrey here would probably really help Allison re-adjust to being alive. âWell, I know he was here. Although, I havenât really seen him around in a while.â
Allison nodded. She was a little bit worried about it, but she trusted her cousin is okay. "Okay. At least Audrey's here. It would be nice to see her soon." So much had changed since she died, It was like she travelled through time in only a few seconds. It's amazing what death can do to you.

âWell, first of all, your dad is going to love you no matter what. Also, your cousin Audrey is in Beacon Hills now, and I am sure that she is also going to be completely fine with you either way.â Lydia replied, trying to calm down her clearly upset friend. âTogether we will figure out if they did anything to you, and if so what it was. I know it doesnât seem like it now, but things are going to be okay.â
Allison blinked. "Audrey's here?" She smiled. Audrey was probably her closest family member next to her dad that was still alive. "That's great!" She was definitely cheered up now. "Is Marc here too?" She asked.

Lydia sent her best friend another reassuring smile. It wasnât hard for her to tell that Allison was still internally freaking out. âLook, I know that this is a weird situation, but weâll get through it together. The whole pack is here for you, there is no need to worry.â She replied, wanting more than anything for Allison to just focus on the good.
Allison tried to calm down, but she couldn't. "What if my family assumes I'm not human anymore and they try to kill me? What if I'm not human and I accidentally kill them all?" Her eyes flashed a yellow color briefly, but Allison didn't notice. She breathed in slowly, then she let the air out slowly, calming down. "Lydia, I'm kind of scared to confront my family."

Isaac closed his eyes for a moment as he let out a shaky breath. âOkay, okay we just ⌠Scott needs to know. And ⌠oh, man, your dad. And Lydia. Everyone. This is justâŚâ he let out another sigh, âThis is all so crazy. But ⌠but I guess, when is it not crazy here?â
"Stiles and Derek?" She suggested. They would probably care that she was back. And being the problem solvers they were, they would try to figure it out instead of wondering about it. Allison smirked. "You mean that part hasn't changed about Beacon Hills?" Despite it all, she laughed.

Itâs going to be alright Allison, I promise. Our friends are all used to seeing things that we didnât think possible, especially with Erica back. Your family loves you, theyâre going to be happy. You come from a family of hunters, itâs not like they know nothing about the supernatural.â Lydia replied, trying to reassure her best friend. She leaned over and put a hand on Allisonâs shoulder. âWeâll get through this.â
Allison nodded, still not reassured. "I mean, yeah, we're all hunters, but I don't think there's anybody who has come back from the dead." She didn't remember her dad telling her about some who came back from the dead. "I mean, I don't think there has been anyone who came back from the dead like Erica and I have."

âHonestly losing you, and then losing Aiden right after, was the hardest thing that Iâve had to go through.I lost two very important people to me in such a short period of time.â Lydia replied, knowing that sheâd barely gotten over the pain of missing Jackson at that point. âBut I am glad you are back Allison. I truly am. I missed you so much.âÂ
Allison smiled and hugged her freind. "I'm glad to be back." She pulled back, then ran her hand through her hair. "I wonder how everyone else will react. I'm pretty sure Isaac went to tell Scott, but what about Stiles and Derek? What about my Dad and the rest of my family?" She was suddenly worried, and she turned away from Lydia.

thescreaminglydia:
âYeah, he left with your father right after you died. I think it was all just a lot for him to handle.â Lydia replied honestly. At this point she knew there was no point of lying to Allison. Her best friend was bound to find out the truth eventually, and besides Allison always knew when she was lying. âA few months ago I got attacked by a Kanima. I called Isaac for help, and he was the one who made sure I got to the hospital in time. I was in a coma, but I pulled through.â
Allison bit her lip. She missed an entire year of risked lives, injuries, and kicking enemy butt. "I'm sorry I wasn't there. I mean, I know that it's not my fault I died, but I still missed so much." She turned away from the mirror, losing interest on what she looked like. "I'm sorry I gave you just enough time for you to heal, then come back just to tear the scab off."

Allison looked down, unexpected tears in her eyes. âI donât know.â She shook her head, then looked back up at her friend. âI did die, Isaac. I felt the blade go through my chest, I remember the world fading as Scott was holding me, Isaac. I donât know how Iâm alive. I only woke up about an hour or two ago!â She sighed, a tear rolling down her cheek. âI donât knowâŚâ
Isaac sucked in a deep breath at her words, the memory still as clear in his mind as if it was yesterday. The grief, despair, and even betrayal he had felt in those final moments was still raw, and yet there she was, standing right in front of him. âI donât understand thisâŚâ he said softly, âEricaâs back too and I just ⌠I donât understand how this is happening.â he added, squeezing his eyes shut, âAllison, itâs been nearly a year.â
The words ânearly a yearâ rang in her head. Her body should have been mostly decayed. How was she alive, fully restored and healthy? "A- a year?" She stuttered, trying to keep her composure. "Isaac, I'm just as confused as you are. Not that I liked being dead, but I'm not sure how I'm back."

Lydia was both surprised and relieved by Allisonâs reaction. She knew that her best friend had always been very understanding, but this situation was complicated. It wasnât every day that your dead best friend came back from the dead to find out youâre now dating her boyfriend. âWe talked a lot when he was in Europe, and when he came home we got together after he saved my life.â
Allison listened closely. "Wait, Isaac went to Europe?" Allison asked, not remembering Lydia mentioning that before then. "Wait, he saved your life?" So many questions came from that story. She was happy that they could talk casually about this like the best friends they were.

Lydia couldnât help but feel a feeling of guilt wash over her at the mention of new guys. It was true that as of yesterday Allison was dead, but that didnât change the fact that Lydia was now dating one of her ex-boyfriendâs. To make matters worst, Lydia was dating the last boy Allison had dated before her death last year. Although a lot of time had passed since then, for Allison everything was still new and fresh. âIsaac and I have been seeing each other for a while. Iâm sorry Allison, but when you were gone we both leaned on each other for support. It just kind of happened.â
Allison let out a sigh and pursed her lips. That caught her off-guard. She nodded. "Okay." She shouldn't have been surprised, but she was. It was her best friend and her boyfriend. "This is so clichĂŠ," she said with a laugh. It took a second for it to sink in, but she understood. And honestly, she liked the idea.

âJackson has changed. Something about England changed him. I mean heâs still Jackson, but he is different.â Lydia replied, unsure how to explain to her best friend just how much her ex-boyfriend had changed over the last couple of years. Lydia sent a smile at Allison, very glad that she had someone to have girl talk with again. âIâve had my ops and downs, but we all have. But currently, I am doing really well.â
"That's good," Allison commented after hearing her friend's status. She wanted to come out and ask her about any new relationships, but she was scared Lydia would tell her something she didn't want to hear. She decided to jump the gun and ask anyways. "Any new guys?" she asked in a flirtatious tone.
