“I love that word. Forever. I love that forever doesn’t exist, but we have a word for it anyway, and use it all the time. It’s beautiful and doomed.”

“I swear to god it’s people like us that gave autumn it’s name; we are falling in such a way that the beauty of the leaves is lost in comparison.” (allofthecolourinsideme)
It’s that time of year again, and I’m back!!!!
“Trust me. Those heartaches will heal sooner or later and they will lead you to your right one.”

“There is nothing sweeter in this sad world than the sound of someone you love calling your name.”
— Kate DiCamillo, The Tale of Despereaux
““Wrong timing? I’ve heard people talking about it. I don’t believe there’s anything like “wrong timing” or that you meet someone when you’re not ready for each other. I truly believe that it’s always the right time for you to go through specific situations whenever they happen. I learned that everything happens at the right time for a good reason. There’s a reason why you meet specific people at a specific time, there’s a reason for people leaving you when you’re at your lowest. (And there’s a reason for your relationship to end, right when you start depending on the other person to make you happy and love you the way you should actually love yourself.) It might take some time but eventually you’ll come to realize what a blessing certain events are. Sometimes what seemed to have a negative effect on your life will turn out as the most appreciative lessons in your life. There’s a a plan for each of us and it’s such a liberating thought to know that we don’t have to understand it yet. That’s life. Stop denying the present moment. Flow with it. Have faith.“”

i didn’t think it was love till i saw glimpses of you in every person i knew. i didn’t know it was love till every stranger i met, made me want to run back to you. -SM. @proselike

got a fridge set for christmas, another thing she missed
“You are not the ground not soil or earth, not something to be tread on. You are not the trees rooted to that ground and forced to take whatever weather up above. You are not the weather in the sky. You are not the sky. You are bigger than the sky. You are bigger than the sun and the moon, bigger than both the light and it’s reflection. You are speckled in stars, galaxies for eyes, a supernova in your chest. You are Newton and Galileo, thinking things that have never been thought before. You are both the singularity and the black hole, you are nowhere and everywhere all at once. You are the entire universe, infinitely existing, rapidly expanding, you are all there ever was and will be, and deserve to be loved as such. It’s a good thing I love physics.”

“I’m learning that home really is where the heart is, and it’s hard to articulate that spot when you’ve fallen in love with so many different people places and things. I fell in love with the sound of my own two feet walking next to hers, I felt home in every city I ever loved her in, but you can’t make a home out of something with wings where its roots should be and then expect it not to go anywhere, which is to say the closest thing I have to name myself a home anymore is my own condemned body.”
— -excerpts from poems I never should have written #32
I like people with emotional and intellectual depth, speaking so passionately about everything they believe in is honestly so beautiful
“she breathes fire. her razor sharp claws give way to a massive frame silhouetted by steel cage wings. she has a sword for a tongue daggers for eyes. a hole in her chest. chain link fence ribs and kevlar for skin. She guards a princess heart in the highest room of the tallest tower. It’s been there for years and grown quite comfortable with its accommodations The mountains around her castle, they stand noble. proud. they keep others out. they keep her in she knows not which is more important, only that her lonely catches the sunlight and refracts off the snowy peaks. I wonder if you have figured out who this poem is about yet, you or I. no? me neither.”

And then she asked me “Why do you keep your walls up? To keep others out?” I should have told her, “Not to keep others out, but To keep myself in.”
