remaking this as a private blog :3
deleting my pinned post (originally i was going to use it as a plotting call but i let it get away from me and so now it’s just kinda cluttering my blog up i think) / gonna slowly work on redoing my docs !
the way this community has treated pruinoce is absolutely freakish and shameful
comfys ;
a rare smile is absent, brows raised ever so slightly with arms folded across his chest. ‘ the same for me, huh? you have my interest piqued. ’ but doesn’t bother to go further in his inclination than that. in fact they’re slightly amused, a twinkle in their eye. nothing but blossoming respect however observant exhaustion; she sets up herself so high any up any further would be an action that’s worse than death. does she know this? a product of her own downfall. a living thing as someone such as her, soft but ferocious in her right. holding his chin, they think. a dandelion, her favorite flower. it would be too obvious of an answer. a soft hum and finally, the smile is present, however more genuine that that he’s placed in the past. have they learned? probably not.
‘ a cecilia. ’
she can’t help but allow a softening of her features at their answer, the word giving her a sensation of relief that she’s surprised to admit she didn’t expect. it doesn’t catch her off guard, not entirely, but it did well enough to let the weight of exhaustion slip over her, and with a graceful motion, she leaned back to sit atop one of the few clear spaces on her desk. an act of vulnerability, in some ways, at least for jean, who rarely made such an effort to make herself comfortable [ 𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚘𝚏 𝚊𝚕𝚕 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚜. ] ❝ my mother always kept cecilias. ❞ she smiles at the memory. ❝ but, they do poorly after they’re cut. they can hold up against gusts, but not a vase. they lasted no longer than . . . hm . . . . a couple days . . . ❞ suppose that’s how all flowers go, but she always found it the most odd for cecilias, their strength on cliffsides never extending farther than her own mother’s bedroom. it always confused her as a child –– and it was disappointing to find herself unsure, still, as an adult. contemplation of the memory turns to contemplation on kaeya himself, her gaze moving up to his. ❝ most of the time, to me, you’re just a mystery. i wish i could call myself more original. ❞ the short sound of laughter escapes her breathily, quiet and nearly sigh - like. ❝ or poetic. lisa would have a good pick for you, i think . . . ❞
finishing up venti’s story quest has me thinking about the concept that seems to be canon now that you can literally, in this world, keep a spirit alive by your memory. keeping them in your thoughts, when their spirit hasn’t yet departed, maintains them –– in mondstadt, in this quest, it is said locals believe that if you die in a windless space, your soul cannot make it to the afterlife. it’s believed you’re stuck in a permanent limbo, searching. but it would also seem that if your spirit is stuck like that … if someone actively remembers you, keeps your memory vibrant and alive, then your soul is held near to them, at least until another day can come which gives you the chance to pass over. i imagine there are various versions of “windless deaths” and what causes limbo after death within each nation, so i’m curious the liyue equivalent … because if it’s should you die on the sea, without land, or rock, then it makes the fact beidou risks so much on her adventures all the more weighty, and the concern ningguang holds over her all the more understandable.
weaving this into delphine’s story, actually, and considering iqra a constant presence in moments of solitude and loneliness. delphine does well to ignore her during the day but she can’t shake the memory, so she’s followed by her everywhere, and sometimes, at lower moments, or more vulnerable ones, she’ll talk to her, and sort of encourage the haunting, essentially. no one hears the bickering late at night in delphine’s apartment, or if they do it’s considered silly ramblings of a professor oft to philosophize aloud to herself.
i’m actually in such a genshin mood today - i have things to do but hopefully speaking into existence that later tonight i can come on here for a bit and get at least a couple replies / memes finished!
this is actually true on every single number :-]
i dont think these are very fair.
lost all the voicelines before i could draft them because my computer crashed

taking an ever-so-brief semi hiatus as i make headway on @mareyjane because i’m really in the mindset for her currently, and it’s sort of a nice mindset to be in! so follow me there if you’d like, or else i’ll be here again soon, just wanted to offer an explanation if my activity dips a little in mj’s favor.
