DOCTOR WHO (2005-) “Journey’s End” (4.13)
The Doctor could have spent hours admiring the engine room. It was old, not impossibly, but old and strange enough to catch his attention.
“Come on, then,” he muttered to himself. He was crouched low on his haunches, practically sitting within the guts of the engine. A mass of wires hung down in front of his face, illuminated by the glow of his sonic. “I know you’re a bit rusty, but I want to find out just where you came from.”
If only he could get it up and running again, he could access the ship’s files, learn her secrets, satisfy that niggling curiosity…
He touched two yellow wires and electricity popped through the whole system. The Doctor jerked away with a yelp and fell flat on his back. Lights flickered on and a hum vibrated through the very floor. The Doctor beamed.
“Ha! Now we’re talking!”
He pushed himself to his feet and half ran-half hopped to the computer controls. Among the flashing buttons and glowing switches, a green monitor stood out in the centre. A map of the ship! A blinking red dot marked where he stood, but there wasn’t just one. There was another not two rooms away, flashing and moving quickly.
“Oh, looky there, ay…” The Doctor’s brows arched. “Seems I’m not the only one who popped by for a visit.”
Klaus chewed on his lip, gripping Dave's dog tags and running them back and forth in his hand. "... Could we go to 1968?"
“1968! Good year, 1968! Planet of the Apes, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang! First episode of Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood! Women’s liberation! The Winter Olympics! Apollo! The great tipping point of the space race!” The Doctor shouted as he danced around the console with frenzied delight, slapping buttons and tickling dials.
“Student protests! Massive earthquakes! Vietnam! Assassination of Martin Luther King! Assassination of Robert F. Kenn... Bad year, 1968. Very, very bad year.” He halts mid-spin and his glee vanishes. “What do you want to go to 1968 for?”

Kinda wish I could inject all the DW information back into my brain without having to rewatch the entire series and scroll for hours through a wiki lol
I love Doctor Who but man the lore goes so deep and I have but 1 tiny human brain and a very limited amount of time to try to compile everything again.
I disappear sometimes. It’s my thing.
